Shadow thought for a moment, "Please, you are my leader now. I trust you can find a name to suit me..." she sighed and got up. "Now?"

Spottedstar nodded. "Yes, now. Follow me." She rose and carefully stepped around the kits, thinking about how they would be apprenticed in a moon or so. So many kits. I hope I have enough ready warriors. She padded out of her hollowed out den, then leapt up the tree to the Highbranch, raising her tail to regain the Clan's attention.

"ShadowClan! I have discused with Shadow the terms of her joining us. She and her kits are to become full members of ShadowClan. Heart, you shall be Heartkit. Shattered, you shall be Brokenkit. Claw, you shall be Clawkit. Fang, you shall be Fangkit." She survayed the newly named kits, then paused, reminding herself of the bargain. "Tears, you have decided to keep you birth name, and I shall honor that unless you decide otherwise." The ginger and white leader then looked to their mother. "Shadow, your new name shall be Shadowheart. As a full ShadowClan warrior, StarClan honors your loyalty and judgement. Welcome to ShadowClan." She then sat back, waiting to see if the other cats would recite their names as tradition, thus accepting the family into their ranks, or rebel against her decision. With ShadowClan, it was always hard to tell. But that was what made them ShadowClan, after all.

Shadow smiled, wait! no, Shadowheart! She breathed in slowly and looked at her kits. She smiled and licked her kits heads. They would be apprentices very soon, she would have to teach them what she could. She remembered only a few moons ago she detested the thought of clan life. But now when she thought of clan life she thought of her future. Her heart warmed and she sat down, her paws itching to she a certain cat-but she wouldn't tell him that.

Tears showed no enthusiam, for he still hated this idea. He let his mom lick the top of his head, but he made no sound or movement, except the little sound of his groan and grumbles.

"Can we sleep now?"

He moaned, ears flickering.

Shadowheart sighed nosed him forward, "Go on Tears. All of you, off to the nursery." She nosed all her kits toward the nursery. She padded toward Dirtfur, "I guess I am your Clanmate now>" she asked, her voice casual.

DirtFur snapped out of it, staring at ShadowHeart.

He dipped his head, and he had to admit, his mind was still buzzing of MoonShine. He missed her so much, but he was starting to sink in forgiveness in his pelt.

"Er... ya."

His ears flicked uneasy.

Tears sighed of relief. Finally he could sleep. He padded off, his tail drooping.

The only real reason he stayed was because of his family, but he hated the fact he had to stay in the clan life. There was something horrible about it he hated. He didn't know what exactly.

DirtFur's ears flicked a bit, and just nodded.

He bent over to his flank, licking it a few more times, but looked back at ShadowHeart.

She nodded and padded away to the nursery, cuddling beside her kits.
