Moonlight had gathered her kits together and was on the boarder of shadowclan territory waiting to talk to Clawtooth. She had build a den in the gorge where she found an abandoned cave and she had filled it with moss and fresh kill already. All she needed was Clawtooth if he would come, She waited for him to show her kits beside her curled up together.Sparklekit, Talonkit, Lilykit, and Rosekit. When they moved they would be given new names.

Talonkit was looking around the new surroundings with wide, excited eyes. He had never been beyond the RiverClan camp, so this all seemed like a big adventure to him. Energy pulsed through the little kit, and he began bouncing around. "What are we doing, Momma? Are we on some sort of secret mission or something?" His eyes shone as he looked up at her, the she-cat who he so greatly resembled.

Moonlight smiled and looked down at Talonkit "No sweetie we are waiting for your father and if he chooses he will come with us to the gorge..to our new home in a big cave where we will stay and you can play all day with your sisters." she mewed then leaned down and nuzzled him.

Clawtooth had received an urgent message from his sister that Moonlight was leaving RiverClan for good, he rushed to her side. "Moonlight, why are you leaving RiverClan my dear?" He purred, worry in his ice blue eyes.

All of a sudden, a high-pitched squeal came out of RoseKit.

"I wanna go home!"

Her fur fluffed up, her eyes shining with fear.

"I don't like it hear! Momma, I wanna go home!"

Moonlight looked to Clawtooth "Because I must get away...it brings me to much hurtful memories of which I do not wish to explain you can stay or you can come with us" she mewed then she looked down and licked Rosekit on the top of the head then looked at her "we are going to go to our new home that has already been set up we just need to get there" she mewed to her.

Rosekit swatted at her mother's nose.

"No! I want to go back home! With the others!"

She wailed.

Moonlight looked down at Rosekit her glare iced by fear she stood up and leaned over the kit "So you wish to leave me? You wish to just take off to a better place?" she mewed her voice sounding like it was about to crack. She had this already happen to her and she was not going to let another kit just get up and go.

She pushed her nose right into her mother's face for a few moments. She returned the stare rather intimitating.

"No. You and everyone else go back home. Together. Family."

She hissed.

"We're not going back there!" she hissed at the kit. She would not go back to the place that reminded her so much of Ice. She never should have gone to Clan life she never should have taken him in only to be hurt by him so much only a half-moon later! They would all live in the gorge in the cave with lots of food and then when they got older only then would she let them leave on there own.

She stood there proudly, with her head high in the air.

"Oh no you wont!" she mewed picking Rosekit up by the scruff before she had a chance to get away. Moonlight looked to Clawtooth "I need you to help the kits they will stay betweem your shoulders if you set them there and we must get to the cave I have it set up with food and more we just need to block the entrance so the kits can't get out. Sparklekit looked up to her sister Rosekit "Now momma's gonna block us from getting out but why do you want to go back?" she mewed as she climbed onto her mothers shoulders.

Clawtooth licked the top of his kit's head in admiration and adoration. "My daughter, beloved, Home is where your family is, and that is right here." He said fondly. "We need to fin somewhere to stay, do you have any Loner friends that have a safe home?" he asked

Clawtooth nodded, "fine." he mewed, "But I am coming with you, the woods are rougher than they used to be when you joined RiverClan. You had better stay with me. I can spend quality time with my kits too."
