Talonkit looked past Moonlight to glare at his sister. Why was she being so difficult? "But you won't even give it a chance! You might like it here, if you would. But instead all you've done in complain!" He wrinkled his nose, and brushed against his mother's legs. He wanted them to be a family, and that meant being together. But how could they when Rosekit was being such a bother?

RoseKit paused, and craned her neck around. She stared at her brother, with anger flaring in her little pupils. She was getting angry.

"Shut up! I know I won't, I want to go back! I had friends there, and my other siblings, and I am used to it there. I want to be a warrior!"

Her fur was now fluffed up.

Moonlight nuzzled Talonkit and licked the top of his head then looked down and smiled at him. She wrapped her tail around him and kept him close for a moment or so..She didn't want to let that moment go...for it was like looking back at herself when she was younger.

Not Gonna Listen

Talonkit twitched his whiskers, pressing into his mother's fur as she wrapped her tail around his body. Being with her made him feel safe, but also bolder and more confident. "You don't know that. Besides, all those warriors do in hunt and fight. Any cat can do that, not just a warrior. You can get used to it here just as well as there!"

RoseKit hissed.

"You say we should be together as a family, yes? Well, the whole clan is my family! I don't care what you say about a warrior, because I want to be one!"

Clawtooth nuzzled Rosekit softly, "My sweet, maybe one day your pawsteps will lead you to clan-life. But for now your home is with me, mother and your siblings."

Stay Or Leave

Talonkit turned away from his sister in anger. He was tired of hearing the same old words. If she wasn't going to even try and understand, he wasn't going to keep wasting his breath. The black kit flicked an ear at his father's words; that could be a solution. She could stay here for her kithood, then pack up and leave. Then he wouldn't have to hear her whines all the time. But then he looked up at Moonlight. She wouldn't like that, and even he could understand that matter.

When ClawTooth came to nuzzle her, she turned her right paw around, and went to swipe his nose.

"Back off! I belong there, not here! Stop trying to change everything!"

She growled.

Moonlights eyes glared at her like a cold green emerald fire that wouldn't stop burning till the pain was gone. She stood up unsheathing her claws and letting her sharp ivory fangs hang down . She stood up and walked till she was almost over the kit she stared down coldly and hard "get out..." She hissed under her breath her ears bent back and she yelled it at the kit "GET OUT! RUN if you must for everyone seems to want to leave me! Bluejay stayed behind, you want to leave!..." but the last one struck her hard like her heart had been shredded with claws of steel and her eyes turned to slits "And....Ice.." she mewed at last. She had gone crazy with hallucinations and hearing his voice everywhere. She turned her head to the side to see a small white kit sitting there...he had returned...again.. she never forgot those eyes she had seen the very first day. Her mouth hung open a bit in shock..."You've returned?" she asked him. Sparklekit watched her momma but who was she talking to? There was no one there...or at least from what she could see.

RoseKit flattened herself to the ground, before raising herself once more. She glared at her mother, and said two words;

"Glad to!"

She stood there for a moment, then turned. She ran out, although she didn't know the way back to RiverClan at all.

No One's There

The illusion of Ice smiled. But the smile was almost haunting. It was blank. There was nothing else behind the smile, like a mask. "I've come back, Momma. I missed you so much. I'm sorry I left you." The happy face stayed there on his face, but the kit's image did not move. He just sat there, his head tilted a little as he watched her.

Her eyes gleamed with happiness and questions filled her mind for she when she did normally see him he left before she had a chance to ask them but he was staying longer "Ice I have missed you...but why did you leave? I don't understand.." she asked as she watched him. He seemed blank and not moving at other times he would walk beside with her and this was though he was ghost like it was strange but she got to actually talk with him.

Haunted

The kit's image purred. "Don't worry about why I left. It doesn't matter. I just want to stay here with you, now, Momma." His empty blue eyes blinked with the same hauntingly cheerful face. He almost looked real, only his body would sometimes fade with a coming breeze, as if threatening to make him disappear again. Then he stood and padded closer to her. "Just forget everything."

Moonlight sat down "How?...how can I forget.." she asked she had been remembering for so long...She saw as the wind blew past and him fade a bit she soon then realized it wasn't him. Her smile disappeared and her eyes went cold "Y-your n-not I-ice..." She mewed seeing through his fake smile. She hated when her mind did this to her, "You hav- you have to g-go.." she stuttered cutting herself off.

Here In The Back Of Your Mind

The kit's picture only blinked. "But I can't leave you, Momma. I'm here, in your head. In your memories." His smile widening to a toothy grin, the illusion attempted to brush against Moonlight's leg, even though no real contact was made. "If you never let me go, I'll always be here. Forever."
