Cedarclaw purred, comforted by the thought. But as she listened to Foxstar's listings of the patrols, her heart sank a bit. The she-cat would have liked to go with Sootclaw, but it looked as if she would have to go without. That's probably a good thing. I might be distracted. This way I can focus more on fighting.

A Soldiers Decision to Fly Away

Badgerpaw's claws slipped out to scrape at the earth. If this was what he had to do, there was no point in trying to fight against it. It's not like I want to fight this battle, but what Foxstar says goes. The tom flicked his black tail in frustration as he listened to the names. He was to be in Foxstar's patrol. Great. If the leader even thought she saw him going easy in the fight, becoming a warrior would forever be out of his reach.

Swanfeather nodded and licked Swiftwind's cheek, "Not tonight Darling." she purred, then rose to rally her patrol.

She felt rather satisfied with whom she picked, jumping off of the high rock. She looked at all her warriors, getting in the middle of the all.

"Good Luck, all of you! SwanFeather, go now! Everyone get in their patrols, and follow, but stop shortly behind later on!"

Swanfeather nodded and lead her patrol away towards RiverClan territory. She was glad she was staying out of most of the fighting. It would be good because the RiverClan cats couldn't have been tipped off, right...

Cedarclaw nodded. "Yeah. Don't worry, it'll all work out. You'd just distract me." The tortoiseshell licked his cheek, loving how the look in his eyes made her feel. "I'm sure you'll beat lots of RiverClan cats senseless!" She laughed lightly, nuzzling his neck. She was sure he would. The black tom's muscles showed strongly beneath his fur, reassuring her of it.

Ashstorm nodded at Foxstar's words. She hoped she wouldn't have to get into a fight with that calico she-cat the big tabby she had seen at the gatherings was fond of. That wasn't something she was looking forward too. Then again, she had looked a bit big then. Maybe she'd had kits by now and that wouldn't even be a problem. But you never knew anymore. She didn't exactly like that Myxa wasn't going to be in her patrol, but she would deal with it. Atleast she'd go through and take out someone that could possibly hurt him. If anyone lays a paw on him I swear by Starclan...... She thought murderously.
