Ashstorm sighed. When would cats learn to just quit attacking eachother! Would the trouble with Riverclan never end?!?! First there was Crookedstar, then Froststorm, then the problems with everything else! Would their troubles never end? The lithe gray she-cat stretched, her black paws kneading the earth. It was always time for a little bit of blood on your paws. Whether another cats or your prey it didn't matter. Sometimes it was one and the same. Another cat was your prey because of what they had done. And this time.....it would be one and the same.

A silver tabby tom was slowly padding through, but was hardly noticable, since there was a meeting. He followed his rare birds' scent, and came here.

He soon saw her, and slowly padded over.

"Hey, sweet Rare Bird!"

He purred, overhearing SootClaw.

"Yes, War. It is normal for clans to do this."

Then hearing the WindClan leader;

"It needs to be done! She is part of RiverClan once more, and if they want a war, we'll give them one!"

Swiftfire slinked into the clearing quickly, hoping no one would notice her. Over the murmurs she found out that they were to attack Riverclan for something a once warrior did. Her head tilted. It made no sense to her.

She stood up angerly and lashed her tail. "Foxstar, rethink your strategy! Accuse Riverclan at a gathering, not out of the blue when they won't understand why we are fighting!," she yowled across the clearing at the leader.

Birdflight shook her head, though Foxstar was like this she was still their leader. Birdflight would stand beside her though and through.

Swanfeather pressed closer to her mate, the protests spooking her.

Moonspirit growled, frustrated. "Clawpaw, get up and come with me. We are going to ShadowClan." she mewed. (((OOC:This would go to 'an old but new face)))

Smallpaw got up, going to Moonspirit, "May I join in the fight?" she mewed, nudging the medicine cat.

Moonspirit nodded, "Yes, on one condition, stay close to your sister. " she mewed, then waved her tail to Clawpaw and bounded out of camp.

Ashstorm froze when she heard his voice. "M-myxa?" She stammered out, looking at him. She licked his cheek quickly before anyone could see. "Are you sure you should be here, love? I don't want you getting hurt and I'm not sure if anyone here would accept you given the current circumstances and your random wandering in...." she murmered to him, resisting the urge to purr. Oh how she wanted to with this tom here, but she couldnt......not without seeming disrespectful......

Myxa purred loudly, but then lowered it a bit, since there were so many protests, nobody was bound to see him, yet.

He licked her cheek softly.

Just then, a yowling broke out. It was FoxStar.

"We attack at Dawn! Find any cat who is willing to help avenge ClawPaw! MiracleFur will be killed at Dawn, and so will RiverClan cats. We will be victorious!"

"That's it, Rare Bird! I should say I want to help!"

"I volunteer to help!"

He heard a laugh from SootClaw;

"If you wish, by doing this, you can be welcomed in the clan. But only after the battle."

She nodded, and looked away.

Myxa pranced back to AshStorm, and purred.

"Then I'll join your clan! That would make things better!"

Ashstorm shot a death glare at Sootclaw. She hoped Sootclaw caught that look and understood it's meaning. Leave Myxa. ALONE. "It's a good idea, love."

Swiftfire snorted as it seemed her yowl had done nothing to stop Foxstar's decision. She better not lose her life on this stupid fight! Yes, Clawpaw needed to be avenged in some way, but Riverclan could deal with it's warrior without Windclan help. Starclan would not be happy tomorrow.

She was loyal to her clan though. One fact remained. "Foxstar, the Warrior Code states no killing!," Swiftfire yowled towards the leader. The warrior went towards the leader and turned around to face the clan. "You would all go against our ancestors? They who look after us day in and out. What would Clawpaw think?." Swiftfire would join the fray to help her clan, but would never kill unless she had to. This was something against everything she was taught and she wouldn't stand for it.

All These Thoughts, They Make No Sense

Cedarclaw looked down at her paws, feeling uneasy around all these cats. Sootclaw was the only one here who she'd really spent time with after waking up in the medicine cat's den. Now she felt isolated among the rest. Not to mention the confusion she felt about the matter of a war. Was this really her life? She couldn't even judge properly, because she couldn't recall how the Clan life went along with such matters. Half the cats were saying no, and the other half said yes. Such division lead the tortoiseshell to keep quiet, knowing that in condition she wouldn't have the best things to say about the affair compared to the others.
