Swiftwind nuzzled Swanfeather, drawing his tail over her shoulder soothingly. "We'll be okay," he mewed. "You're right. And we have to do as Foxstar says." His tail tip flicked slightly, uncomfortably. Even if it means killing innocents, he thought to himself.

Swanfeather relished his 'You're right'. She purred softly and closed her eyes, just breathing in Swiftfire's scent.

FoxStar stared down at the cats, her eyes narrowing.

"SwiftFire, it also says that Leader's word is the warrior code, therefor, you are not. RiverClan is responsible, since MiracleFur was there, therefore, she is their medicine cat once more."

She rose her voice so all the cats could hear.

"Why would a medicine cat be there, if it had no clan? MiracleFur is back in RiverClan, and they need payback!"

She screeched, her eyes narrowing. She actually looked like a leader for once, and then she spoke once more.

"Infact, we shall go sooner than dawn! They need to be dealt with right away! We will leave soon, soon indeed, and they will learn not to harm another cat again."

She growled, soon jumping down to the ground, padding out of the camp.

He muttered, and nuzzled his mate lovingly.

Swiftfire had to hold back a yowl that she really wanted to tell her leader. Foxstar wasn't being reasonable! Yes, leader word was law, but killing unnessairly was stupid. Clawpaw wasn't dead, just hurt, and nothing that couldn't heal. She hated how she got dismissed so easily. With the last part of the speech, her heart fell in dismay. They were going to leave before dawn.

The defeated she-cat began to walk away, out of the clearing and into the moors. There had to be something she could do, but what. A sudden idea shot through her and she padded quietly away.

Cedarclaw just shook her head and pressed her cheek into his. "You probably understand a lot more than I do, though," she mewed. "I just hope I can remember my fighting moves." She said it lightly, but the thought was a problem she hadn't considered yet. Maybe I should try to run through some things before we head out.

Swiftwind gave a great sigh. "Well, I guess that's that," he meowed unhappily, nuzzling Swanfeather. "We have to fight. Foxstar's right - her word is the code."

"Yes, as thick as the roots of fourtrees her word is the code. But Life lives on." she sighed, "But we wont go unless she orders us on the battle patrol. The Camp will be unguarded if all the warriors leave." She sighed.

Swiftwind nodded. "There's no rush to fight," he agreed. "We can stay behind and guard the camp. You know, in case another Clan launches an ambush." His creamy fur bristled at his last comment, although his tone was lighthearted.

Swanfeather purred, "None whatsoever." she purred, "A whole night alone, just us." she purred.

Swiftwind let out a loud purr and pressed his muzzle to Swanfeather's, forgetting that they were in a meeting. "All to ourselves," he agreed.

She smiled, "Love you..." She giggled, purring softly to her love.

SootClaw licked his mate's cheek gently, and murmured.

"You'll do fine."

He laid next to her, pressing his flank against hers, feeling as if nothing will break these two apart, that nothing bad would happen, ever.

The Wind Beneath My Winds

Cedarclaw smiled, glad he believed in her. As he pressed his flank into hers, she could almost feel her strength. The tortoiseshell hadn't thought of using them before, but as she looked at her forelegs, she could see how hard they could strike, how much damage her claws could do if necessary. Next to Sootclaw, the she-cat felt as if she really could do anything. If she was his butterfly, then the black tom was her wings. "Yeah, you're right," she mewed, licking his cheek, feeling confident and safe next to him.

"When will we leave if not at Dawn?" Birdflight called, her claws itching to get the unfair battle over with.

The black tom purred at CedarClaw, licking her cheek.

"And Remember, I'll be somewhere near, and I will protect you."

He purred, about to speak again, but then FoxStar came.[/center]

The she-cat had returned, her head rather high. She did notice two cats missing; she didn't do anything about it though.

She leapt back on the high rock, already hearing anxious mews from warriors, as in when they would leave.

"We will leave right now;

I am going to sign three patrols out into the territory, one will scoop it out, which will be led by SwanFeather. When I say scoop it out, I mean make sure there are warriors in the camp; I have noticed a few cats missing."

Her eyes narrowed, her tail lashing back and forth behind her angerily.

"They may of warned RiverClan, and I want to make sure that they didn't leave. If they did, then I want to lead another raid later on, but that will be discussed later."

She licked her lips, actually looking like a real leader.

"Next, there will be a second patrol. The second patrol will be lead by SwiftWind. Only go if a cat from the first patrol comes to you, and tells you to attack. You will rush in, and attack the closest warrior near, or even, if you see MiracleFur, attack her. You can choose which cat to do that."

She blinked slowly, as if thinking what the third patrol will do. She thought for a few moments, knowing that everything was silent.

"The third patrol will be lead by me; We will be attacking when SwiftWind sends the signal; A loud yowl. Then we will rush in at all sides, attacking any opponent; And I mean any! Except for the kits and queens, leave them be; Along with the elders."

She was now pacing a bit on the high rock, her ears flat against her head.

She then paused, and looked at the other cats.

"In the first patrol, it will be lead by SwanFeather, like I said, and SootClaw, SmallPaw, and SmokeWisp. In the second patrol, SwiftWind will lead it, like I said before, followed by CedarClaw, SpottedTail, JaggedPelt, Mosspelt, and AshStorm. In the last patrol, I am leading, like I said before, I will have everyone else in the patrol, which includes the following; Myxa, MoonSight, BirdFlight, BadgerPaw, and PatchedFoot.
