Kits. What to do with them...(Moonshadow, open)

Mossflower nuzzled Flairheart. "Of course they can share the mouse. But I'm not hungry right now." she meowed, excitement tingling her paws. She licked Flairheart's cheek and looked at Ivykit. "Ivykit's grown very confident. She says she'll become the best warrior ever." She looked at the kit who was sitting next to Moonshadow.

Brackenkit became aware that the cats had been looking at him. He shrunk back and ran over to Mossflower pressing back into her fur trying not to be seen. His mother would protect him from all these huge cats. He saw his father reach out to lick his head but he shrunk back. His mother would protect him from ALL these huge cats.

Flairheart nodded at moonshadow. "I am thankful to starclan for these kits." He said in a weird voice. He saw that brackenkit was back at his mothers side. He reached out to lick the kits head but the kit shrunk away. Flairheart shook his head that kit was going to have to learn to trust them soon. "Brackenkits a little timid however."

Mossflower looked at the sky. "I thank StarClan for them too. They're the best kits ever," she meowed, smiling. She laughed at Brackenkit as he tried to bury himself in her fur. "My fur's not long enough for you to bury in it, Brackenkit," she meowed, nudging the kit. She licked his ears and looked at Ivykit.

((I'm SOOOO mean...Ivykit is this eager little kit and I plan to CRIPPLE her...aren't i mean...but it would make for a good plot, you know. But it would crush Mossflower...XD)

Sedgekit left the elders' den, a smile on his small face. He looked around the clearing and spotted his mother with Flairheart and Moonshadow. He scampered over and sat in front of his father. He smiled at his sister and brother and licked his paws.

(Eh. I'm bored and I'mma hop in here but D8 That would be an interesting plot point! lol. Riddley would know how she feels....)

The big brown tabby tom had heard the Queens gossiping and watched the kits play. He smiled, flicking his tail about. He certainly did love kits. They were just too amusing to watch. Not to mention fun to play with. He was sitting on a stump, his tail dangling over the edge. When he flicked the tip of it it looked rather like something a kit would jump at. His one paw, the one covered in a scar, was under his tail and he had a couple small scars on his face. He purred, watching the little kits rambunctious antics.

Mossflower noticed the tom, and murmured a hello. She smiled at him and watched as Ivykit took notice of him too. She tumbled over and pawed his tail, yowling with excitement. Mossflower purred and watched as Sedgekit came over. "Hello, Sedgekit, did you enjoy your story with the elders?" she asked, licking her kit between his ears.

MoonShadow smiled softly at the kits. She looked at MossFlower, her eyes flooding with an emotion, possibly jealousy. She envied her, for having kits and a mate.

Her eyes fixed on the kits, her mind having thoughts swarm.

I want kits.. it would be nice to have some..

She shook her head, her yellow gaze shifting to the sky.

Mossflower watched Moonshadow's emotions change suddenly and stood up for a second. She looked at Ivykit, Sedgekit an Brackenkit and purred, settling herself back into the grass. She watched her kits, her eyes protective.

Ivykit raced back to Moonshadow and mewled some random stuff about being a warrior. "Is it fun being a warrior? Do you like it? Are the other warriors nice like you?" she randomly blurted out questions.

MoonShadow blinked, knowing MossFlower moved slightly. She knew that MossFlower probably started not to trust her, due to how protective she suddenly gotten.

She shook her head slightly, looking down at IvyKit. She smiled, and purred.

"Fun can come in different ways, depending on what you enjoy most. It could be fun, just because you like hunting, for instance. I like it, a bit, but I do tend to wish to be an apprentice again."

She paused, when she asked if the other warriors are nice just as her. She thought for a moment.

"Warriors can be.. nice whenever they wish, but some can be grouchy, which is acceptable. Most are nice though, you just have to find the right group."

Ivykit smiled at Moonshadow. She tilted her head. "When I become a warrior will you be my friend?" she asked, with a glance at Mossflower. Mossflower's head was turned away and Ivykit felt weird. She looked back at Moonshadow and smiled again.

Riddlehawk smiled as the kit pawed at his tail and he flicked it around playfully, giving her something to do. He didn't mind the kits teeth and claws. He couldn't even feel them. He just listened to the forest around him and watched the kit play with his tail.

MoonShadow laughed softly at what the kit had asked her.

"Of course, I am your friend right now!"

She purred, her muzzle pressing against the kit's flank. She was already becoming attached, which isn't good so far, and she knew that MossFlower probably felt awkward.

Ivykit tilted her head. "But I'm not a warrior!" she yowled. She kept taking glances at Mossflower but Mossflower never looked her way. Ivykit shuffled her paws on the ground and sat with Moonshadow. She looked at her paws.

MoonShadow's ears flickered slightly, staring down at IvyKit. She seemed rather uncomfortable, since how her excitement went down increasingly so fast.

She followed her gaze to her mother, MossFlower. She noticed that she wasn't looking at the kit's direction, which appearently made her feel rather.. awkward. (The kit btw.)

She looked at her own paws, and then at Ivykit.

"Why not see your mother? I'm sure she would like to see you!"

She tried to say it in a cheerful way, but seemed to crack when it came out.

Ivykit looked at Moonshadow. "But she's not an exciting warrior like you are! She's a boring old queen!" she meowed, her eyes full of excitement again. She jumped around and pounced on a fallen leaf.

Mossflower's ears were pricked towards Ivykit and when she heard that Ivykit thought she was boring old queen, she stood, glared at the kit and Moonshadow and walked away, towards Riddlehawk. Ivykit backed away at her mother's glare and crouched low on the ground.
