Kits. What to do with them...(Moonshadow, open)

Mossflower left the nursery, a kit in her mouth. She walked to the center of the clearing and dropped the kit. She watched it scurry around, and play with a small moss ball it had found. She looked around, smiling. Her three other kits were with the elders, and she had the smallest with her. It was the kit's first time out of the nursery, and she seemed to enjoy it.

MoonShadow was sitting by a stump, since she had an addiction to them, and she didn't know why. She heard squeals of happiness, and knew it was a kit. She purred, her gaze shifting over to Mossflower and her smallest kit.

The black she-cat stood, and padded over, her white paws landing on the ground softly. Her fluffy tail swished slightly, her yellow gaze on the kit, making sure she wouldn't step on her.

She smiled, and stopped. She was next to Mossflower, her gaze fixed on her.

"Hey, Mossflower."

She said, whilst sitting down.

Mossflower smiled at Moonshadow. "Hello, Moonshadow," she replied. She looked at Ivykit, who was sniffing Moonshadow. "It's Ivykit's first time out of the nursery. She was scared to go out before," Mossflower meowed, laughing. She watched her kit tumble around in the grass and stand up, looking at Moonshadow.

Ivykit's icey blue eyes looked into Moonshadow's. The kit smiled and pawed Moonshadow playfully. She looked around and fixed her gaze on some passing warriors. Mossflower meowed, "She's full of energy and can't concentrate!"

MoonShadow laughed at MossFlower's statement of her being scared to come out.

"She sounds like me. I was frightened to come out at first!"

She stared at IvyKit, and smiled. Her tail tip twitched in a playful way, to where the kit could paw at it.

"I can tell! Being full of energy is a great thing!"

She purred.

"If I get an apprentice, I hope I get IvyKit! I'd love that!"

She purred still.

Mossflower purred. She couldn't wait for her kits to be apprentices, but it would be a long time before that happened. She looked at her kit smiling. She lay down on the ground and swished her tail.

Ivykit tilted her head and looked at Moonshadow. "Am I going to be an apprentice now?" she asked once she heard the word 'apprentice'. Mossflower licked her kit in between her ears and looked at Moonshadow. Ivykit smiled. "I'm going to be the best warrior ever!" she yowled.

MoonShadow smiled, her tail swishing. She saw Ivykit's head turn, and tilt in MoonShadow's direction. She heard the question.

"No, No. Not for a longg.. Time. But think about it, you can still practice by tackling bugs and tails!"

She smiled, and looked over at MossFlower. She looked back at Ivykit, and purred.

"I bet you will be!"

Mossflower smiled. Ivykit was already eager to become an apprentice and she was hardly even a moon old yet. She watched her kit look around and smiled once again. Ivykit smiled at Moonshadow. She began pawing Moonshadow's tail and laughing. Mossflower looked at Moonshadow. "She's eager to become an apprentice. I think she'll be great," she meowed, and Ivykit began pawing her mother's tail.

MoonShadow grinned, staring at the little kit. Her tail wrapped around Ivykit for a split second, as in a way of showing affection. She looked back over at MossFlower.

"Indeed, she will be great."

She purred, staring down at IvyKit. She loved this kit's happiness, her bound of energy, and how eager she was. It is true, she will be a great warrior.

((Ooh. I'm so cruel. I just thought of something really mean to do to the poor little kit...CRIPPLE HER. Aren't I mean? It would be terrible...XD))

Mossflower smiled. Ivykit lifted her head as she heard the praise. "I will not be great. I will be wonderful. I'll be Moonshadow's apprentice and be the best there ever was," she yowled confidently. Mossflower purred at how eager the kit was. She was sure this kit would be wonderful.

((xD It is mean, but that would be rather interesting. Cripple her, BUT BUT, she would still be a great warrior. o3o the best crippled one ever!))

MoonShadow smiled down at the kit, and purred.

"Yes, you will be wonderful. Are you sure you want to be my apprentice?"

She laughed a bit, her tail swishing slightly.

((It would make a great plot kinda thing....and Mossflower would be devastated!))

Ivykit smiled at Moonshadow. "Yes. You will make me the best warrior ever!" she yowled. But she quieted her voice for a moment. "You will, won't you?" she asked, tilting her head. Mossflower purred with happiness at the serious tone in her kit's voice. She smiled down at her kit.

((xD! It would make a great plot. Oh! And maybe.. she gets to be the best crippled warrior ever, because she desastates LurkClan, or at least a few on her own, cause they killed one of her siblings, or her mother/father? o3o))

MoonShadow smiled, and purred rather loudly. She nuzzled the kit's chest, hoping MossFlower didn't mind.

"If I became your mentor, I would be honored. If I was, then I would make you the best warrior ever!"

She purred loudly.

((I think it could work...lol The cat they could kill could be...I'm not sure...))

Ivykit smiled. She rubbed against Moonshadow's side and purred. Mossflower looked at her kit. She let a faint smile light her face and nuzzled her kit. She was sure Ivykit would make a great warrior.

[CROOKY]

Brackenkit had been staying close to his mother not really walking off very far. He was a rather timid kit. Finally with the urgings of his mother he sauntered off a little bit and finally after playing with some leaves his confidence was growing. He tracked a small leaf on the ground and stalked over to it he leaned down and wriggled his small butt in the air and leapt onto the leaf shredding it to peices in the process.

Flairheart had a mouse in his mouth and walked over to Mossflower. "How are my loves doing today?" he asked softly tossing the mouse on the ground for the kits. "they can share that right?" he asked unsure. "and I'll go get you something if you like" he said in a softer tone licking mossflowers cheek.

Moonshadow looked over at FlairHeart, her ears flickering slightly. She looked down at IvyKit, and purred. She glanced over at BrackenKit, and smiled. He seemed to be having fun, pouncing on leaves, making them scatter.

"Nice kits you got here, FlairHeart."

She looked at him, not sure if he heard MossFlower and her talking.
