Swiftstar was laying in the soft moss of the medicene cat den. He was aching all over from last nights attack. He still wondered why Fallenlight, one of his own, had attacked him. Did he want Shadowclan, well he left him when he was alive. Swiftstar shook his head, but winced from the pain. Where was Ravenwhisper?

((Crazy said someone should rp Ravenwhisper so I'll try butt when she gets back she can change these as she likes. ))

Ravenwhisper was back with more poppy seeds, they wouldn't completely numb him but they were the best she could do to tame his pain. He had been subject to a horrible attack one without notice! Thinking back to the prophecy she was sorry she hadn't brought it to his attention earlier. "Are you feeling any better Swiftstar?

Leafheart was waiting outside of the medicine cats den she wanted to see how her leader was doing. She didn't want to intrude so she just waited outside. She felt that it was her fault that the Shadowclan leader was hurt. She wished she could help in someway but felt helpless herself. She finally decided to walk inside. She walked very quietly not wanting to disturb her leader in case he was asleep. She looked over to see Ravenwhisper giving him herbs to feel better so she just sat and waited till she was done.....

"A little..." Swiftstar replied. He tried sitting up, but gave out quickly. "I still need a few more days. Tell Spottedfire that she will be keeping track of patrols and hunting."

Leafheart looked at her leader confused. "Are you talking to me.", She asked. She didn't remember saying anything. She was just sitting paitiently but she would leave if needed

Swiftstar glanced at Leafheart. "No, but don't worry, mistakes happen." Swiftstar said with the last of his energy. He laid his head down, he needed more energy so he could help the confused camp. He closed his eyes and tried to get a nap, but it felt as if Fallenlight was invading his mind. He gasped. All he could see was teeth,claws and his blood soaking his fur.

Leafheart walked over to her leader and started licking his head. She slowly licked tasting the tang of the blond still dried in his fur. She talked gently as a mother talked to her kit. "It's ok i will protect you", She said in a soft tone. She kept licking until the blood was gone then moved to his neck licking and licking.

Swiftstar purred a bit. Leafheart was a very kind cat, she always was watching over everyone. He looked up at her, giving her some weak,quick licks.

She had finished licking and was now laying next to Swiftstar to keep him warm. She couldn't stand the thought of him being alone. She hoped that he would sleep soon and regain some of his energy. She started purring deeply and then gave herself a bath as well. She decided to stay here for the night. She wanted him to fell warm and not afraid. She kept licking herself glancing every few minutes hoping that Swiftstar would sleep soon.

Swiftstar started to close his eyes, feeling safer. He kept them open for a few seconds more, and then closed them.

Leafheart was less anxious now that Swiftstar was attempting to sleep. He was a very good leader and she didn't want him to lose a life even if he had plenty to spare. She settled down to and slowly fell asleep to Swiftstars paced breathing.

RunningPath poked her head in the MedicineCat's Den, hoping she was not intruding. She looked at Leafheart next to SilentStar's body. She padded in quietly, hoping she wasn't being annoying as usual. "Is he okay?" She mew'd quietly to Leafheart, sitting down next to her.

"He is weak", she replied. "He needs his rest", She added looking every few seconds to make sure he was still asleep. She was very anxious and maybe even protective of him. She felt right when she was helping so she needed to stay by his side. "I don't want to leave him". It scares me when i am away", She said is a gently voice softly licking his head.

RunningPath smiled softly, her tail brushing against her side slightly. "I understand." She said softy, trying not to wake him. She stared at his body, hoping he was okay herself. She smiled weakly, glad that there is a cat in her clan that likes to take care of all the cats. She nodded her head towards Leafheart, "If you like, I'll stay here with you." She said gently, her eyes rather soft.

"I don't mind if you stay", She replied in a soft tone hoping not to wake her resting leader. She was tired and layed her head back down to sleep. She let sleep take over her mind. She dreamt of a meadow were she played with her kits. But she didn't see a father and wondered if it was just a dream or something more. She settled back down once again staying as close to Swiftstar as possible. Keeping him warm and safe was her number one responsibility.
