Swiftstar slowly opened his eyes. He didn't have a nightmare about Fallenlight, just a dream with his clan. The kits were playing, the apprentices worked hard, and the warriors had protected the clan. Swiftstar managed to lift up his head and yawn. He saw Runningpath was inside the den as well.

Leafheart saw Swiftstar awake and started licking his head in silence."Are you hungry? I'll go get you some fresh kill", She said softly. She didn't want to startle her leader if he had just woken up. She wondered a bout her dream while she waited for her leaders answer.

[CROOKY]

Ravenwhisper came back with more herbs and with a startle saw all the cats. She at once was alerted. "What is someone else hurt!?!" She looked around and saw no other cats in the den and then glowering at the two entered cats. "Leafheart, you go get some prey for Swifstar. Runningpath, Can you take Whispertail, and Spottedfire, and two other cats out on a border patrol to make sure the cats are gone?" She ordered at once realizing she ws taking place of spottedfire for a second but really they shouldnt be unbusy enough to be sitting around in her den. She nudged the herbs over to Swiftstar. "After you are feeling better we will discuss what Starclan has shown to me." She said only loud enough for swiftstar to hear.

Swiftstar ate the herbs slowly. He made sure he had ate each one and then he looked at Ravenwhisper. He slowly sat up. "So what is it Ravenwhisper?" Swiftstar said quietly.

Leafheart got up slowly and walked to the fresh-kill pile. She stretched out every muscle then hurried back to her leader. She dropped the prey at Swiftstars feet then left once more. She sat in front of the warriors den and gave herself a thorough bath thencurled back up in her favorite shady spot.

Swiftstar looked at the freshkill Leafheart had left. He slowly bent down to take a bite out of it, then pulled himself back up. He looked at Ravenwhisper once more and nodded,signaling for her to go on.

[CROOKY]

"Starclan sent each clan a vision of what was to come... I didnt heed mine and now.. I'm So sorry Swiftstar. I didnt know they meant this. They warned of a great shadow." She blurted out looking at the ground in shame.

Swiftstar scanned the she-cat. "You risked cats lives for not telling me. Did you purposely do this?" Swiftstar glared at Ravenwhisper.

[CROOKY]

"No Swiftstar!" Ravenwhisper replied quickly. "In the dream the great shadow was just that a shadow, I thought they meant a famine or a storm I didn tknow they meant real cats were going to attack!" She explained herself quickly.

Swiftstar immediately felt sorry for the she-cat. He should've remembered that Starclan doesn't speak in full sentences, it's always a puzzle. He lied down his fur. "Sorry Ravenwhisper."

Leafheart looked up when she heard yelling. She layed back down maybe she could visit Swifstar when him and Ravenwhisper were done talking. She layed waiting until either Swiftstar or Ravenwhisper to come out of the den. She thought to herself should she tell her dream to her leader. NO!! she thought he probably wont have an answer.

Swiftstar carefully stood up. He took little steps, wincing on each one. He finally got out of the den. He looked around camp, some cats noticed him, some did not. He walked around in a circle to get used to the painful walking.

Leafheart saw him wince and ran to help. When she got close she froze up not knowing what to do. She din't want to hurt him anymore than he was already hurting. "Do you need anything?", She asked in a worried tone. She looked away for a moment not wanting to the pain in his eyes. She then looked back and then sat down in confusion.

"No, I'm ok Leafheart. Just a little tired." Swiftstar knew that sounded stupid, but he didn't ant to seem helpless.

"Oh, I can leave if you want me to", She said trying to hide the disappointment in her voice. She stood up and gave her paw a quick lick then looked at Swiftstar waiting for his answer. She didn't want to seem clingy but she wanted to make sure he was alright forever.
