A new home (Kiki)

Tigerfang was walking with Spotpaw who had agreed to come and live with him and Kiki. He wasn't to sure of her because he had never met her but was sure that she was nice for Tigerfang hadn't stoped talking about her the whole way to her home.

Way Up High

Kiki was up in her tree-den beside the river, passing the time by looking down into the surface as the light broke and shimmered on the water. Occasionally the loner smiled and swore that she could see a familiar tabby face in the patterns, or maybe his yellow eyes. Yellow eyes like her own. She purred and let her tail swish below her as it hung over the branch she had positioned herself on. The black she-cat was too distracted by the river below to notice the arrival of two toms, one familiar and one unknown.

Tigerfang and Spotpaw came into the clearing of where a tall tree was. Tigerfang looked up and smiled to the she-cat that sat upon the outstretched branch. "hello love! Its Tigerfang and I have brought Spotpaw" he shouted up to her his eyes glowing with pride and happiness.

Here We Go Again

The loner's ears pricked at the familiar voice, and she poked her head down below the branch and looked at him upside-down. A smile lit up her dark face. "Tigerfang!" she purred, barely noticing the little tom at his side. Kiki swiftly leapt down from he willow branch and padded over to the handsome tabby with a leap in her step. The she-cat brushed her muzzle against his, then smiled again. "You're finally here!"

Kiki then looked down at the young tom beside him- Spotpaw, she assumed. "Hello, there," she mewed, flicking her tail behind her. "You're Spotpaw, right? I'm Kiki." The she-cat quickly looked the cream-colored tom over. He may have been the tabby's son, but they looked nothing alike. The younger of the toms was cream colored with blue eyes. Much more like his mother, if any cat.

Tigerfang nuzzled her back and looked to his son "Yes this is Spotpaw" he mewed. Spotpaw looked up to her with a smile and nodded "Yes thats me my father has said nothing but good about you" he mewed looking from one to the other. "I don't see why my sister has a problem with you all I see it as is mother left us and we feared the worst but we had to move on" he mewed sitting down.

Introductions

Kiki smiled with a quirk, and used her tail to flick the apprentice's ear gently. "Well, no need to worry about that any more, little one." Her yellow eyes glanced back to Tigerfang. "I suppose I should say welcome to my tree-den. I'm not sure if I've mentioned this, but a friend of mine lives here as well. Mika lives below the base of the tree with her kits. They're a bit younger than Spotpaw, I think." The loner turned her head back toward the willow. "Mika, can you come out? We have company." She wasn't worried about Tigerfang hurting her. He had said that he only felt the need to kill when the pain was around. She just needed to keep him happy.

Tigerfang watched as the light brown she-cat came out with her daughter who tagged along behind her. Mika smiled to the newcommers "Greetings" she mewed as she came to sit beside kiki. Dusk came running over and pounced on Kiki "Aunt Kiki!" she squealed as she hugged her mothers friend.

Tigerfang smiled at the young kit's enthusiasm and was a bit shocked at how much the kit and her mother looked so much alike "Hello Mika". Spotpaw smiled widely at them 'Hello" he mewed.

Seeing Young Life Run

Kiki gave a short laugh as the she-kit pounced on her, landing on her back. The loner managed to crane her neck enough to give Dusk a quick lick on the forehead before mewling, "You're getting big! Soon you'll be toppling me over." The black she-cat was quite fond of the youngling as she was of her mother. It was just too bad about the tom-kit, though... She pushed the thought away.

"Mika, this is Tigerfang, and his son, Spotpaw. They were- are?- ShadowClan cats." Kiki looked to the tabby warrior when she said 'are?' in a bit of confusion. She wasn't sure if the toms had given up Clan life completely. She just knew they were here. "I hope you don't mind a couple extra bodies around here."

Tigerfang looked to Kiki then to Mika "yes we were ShadowClan cats"he mewed smiling to them. He looked to Mika and studied her actions and noticed that she was standing funny and looked to her paw then to Kiki.

Mika looked to Kiki "No I don't see a problem with it the more the merrier" she mewed a light smile across her face.

Leading The Way Home

Kiki flicked her ears approvingly, then again craned her neck to reach Dusk on her back, grabbed her scruff, and set her down on the ground in front of her. "Dusk, why don't you and Spotpaw go play while Mika and I show Tigerfang around?" She gave the little she-kit a nudge forward and then looked back to the tabby tom. The loner padded over beside him and let their flanks brush the other's fur. "What do you say?"

Spotpaw nodded and chased after Dusk "Common! " she mewed. Once they were gone Tigerfang wondered about what there was to show other than where he would sleep but he guessed that it was really an important thing. Mika looked to them "Ok well I am gonna go off to hunt for fish" she giggled and away she went.

Follow The Leader

Kiki watched the two young cats scamper off, an amused twitch in her whiskers, then mewed in understanding to Mika and watched her pad off closer to the riverbank. With the three other cats now gone, it was just her and Tigerfang left standing there. The loner sighed and nuzzled the tabby tom's neck. "It's so good to have you here. Now I don't have to travel all the way through ShadowClan territory to meet up with you." She blinked and smiled. "Well, follow me."

The black and brown she-cat padded nonchalantly over to the willow tree and sat beside its base. "So this is my home. You're new home, now. Mika sleeps below the roots with her kits, since its well protected from the wind and cold. But there's a space up here-" Kiki then leapt up the trunk of the tree and settled in the nook. "Up here there's a nice spot, big enough for three grown cats if need be."

Tigerfang nuzzled her back "Yes that is nice for now you can see me all the time" he mewed smiling widely then followed her jumping up with her. He looked around "It even has a nice view "He mewed he turned and looked in the nook of the tree "yes its quite spacious in there " he mewed a bit surprised but was happy for it was good to have extra space.

Standing Beside You

Kiki purred. "Yep, plenty." Sitting beside the tabby tom, the loner she-cat leaned into hi shoulder and looked across into the glittering water. "I could spend a whole day just sitting up here, watching the river flow by. Curious how it's always moving, don't you think?" The black she-cat reached up to give him a lick on the cheek. "Being here with you makes it even better, though. I'm so glad you're staying with me this time."

His smile grew even wider as she licked his cheek and a question came to his mind it was about the space in the tree. He turned to Kiki "Love...what do you think about kits?...perhaps not right now but maybe later on?"he asked pure curiosity in his eyes. He loved the little balls of fluffy cheer. But maybe later on so they still had time to do the things they loved before they came.
