Surprise From Nowhere

Kiki felt her eyes widen... And widen. Kits? She'd never thought about having any. The black she-cat had dubbed them off as too much trouble for her to deal with. But then she thought about seeing Mika's two kits after they were born; little balls of fur, sleeping so soundly near their mother's belly, so desperate to survive by getting to her supply of milk. And now that Dusk was grown, so eager and excited. And now she also had a mate who loved her, something she never considered... The loner felt her normally cold heart melt a little.

She remained quiet for a few heartbeats, weighing the pros and cons that came to mind, but in the end just rested her head against his shoulder. "Maybe," she purred, "in time. Right now I'm just happy with the two of us. And, of course, Mika, Dusk and Spotpaw."

He purred back "yes dear thats what I mean all in good time I too am quite happy with what we have now" he purred for that was all he wanted to hear was a maybe for he didn't want them right now but perhaps later on after they had a bit more fun with blood on there claws. He smiled at the thought of the adventures they might have soon to come..

Forever You And I

Relief spread over her pelt at his understanding. Yes, perhaps on day kits would be an option. But their tree was filled enough as it was. There were plenty of things to do first. Get to know each other more, spill some blood... But, in the back of her mind, Kiki wanted Tigerfang to go for a moon without seeing, talking to, or even catching scent of Leafheart. She was the enemy, and the black loner would do just about anything to claw her neck if proven necessary. If Tigerfang had nothing to do with her for a whole moon, there would be nothing left to fret about.

She let her tail search out his, and let them entwine. Oh, how her life had changed these moons. The old her never would have recognized herself. But this new Kiki didn't mind. "What do you say we go near the kittypet territories tomorrow? There always seems to be at least one lost set of paws on our side of the fence." Her claws dug into the tree bark with anticipation. If there was anything strong between them, this was it.

Tigerfang purred even louder at the thought and he rested his head to hers "Yes my dear that sounds like a wonderful idea they'll never see it coming " he mewed with a light laugh. He to let his claws scratch against the bark of the branch and let his tail be entwined with hers. He was happier than normal he didn't have the pain return and he was able to keep himself content with his mood by being able to enjoy a little killing with his mate.

Thinking It Over

Kiki nodded with a pur. "Yep. We could try to see if we could both attack. You know, make a plan. I cover one side, you the other. Like hunting a mouse." The dark loner licked her lips at the thought. Stratagizing was a specialty of hers. It wasn't enough to use her claws. She had to use her mind to make it really interesting.

Tigerfang nodded "Maybe one go after it chase it a bit then corner it and the other attack it from above or we could head a bit further in and go after some ally cats?" he suggested with a grin reappearing to his face. That could be fun maybe a tough ally cat or two.

Does That Make Me Crazy?

The loner's eyes glowed at the thought. "Yeah, you're right. Ally cats would be some fun. A good change from defenceless kittypets." Kiki nuzzled his cheek with the same, contented purr. "Our pelts would go well in the shadows. Wherever we come from, we should look for a dark hidding post."

"Now theres an idea do you want to head out to see if we can find a good hiding post?" he asked with curiosity. Oh how fun this would be indeed an ally cat or two to chase a shaded place in the shadows fun..

Don't Hold Back

Kiki nodded eagerly. "Mm-hmm. Let's get going! No point in waiting around here all day talking about it if nothing happens." The loner pulled herself away from the tabby and turned to leap down the willow's truck, flicking his nose with her tail flirtatiously as she went. This would be more fun than she'd had in a good while. Finally, blood to spill at her claws! Her paws landed lightly on the ground below with a quiet thump, and she glanced back up the tree. "Coming?"

Tigerfang followed her and off they went to search out into the two-leg places for an ally cat.
