Miracle's Fur on Moon's Spirit

Moonspirit flashed at her, already off before Miraclefur could touch her. "I'm not wasting my cobwebs on a murderer!" she snarled, "Get your own!" she went back to Foxstar, where all the cobwebs she had on the camp were laid to help her. She grabbed some and started treating Foxstar again, lapping up all the blood and making sure all the wounds had poultice on them.

MiracleFur's head spun around, a pop cracking from how fast she did that. She hardly noticed.

"MoonSpirit!"

She hissed, her hackles rising. Her fur was bristling with tension and anger.

"You would let a cat die?!"

Her voice was stern and firm.

Then, her head spun over to BadgerPaw.

"Excuse me? I am having some respect at least! I'm not rummaging through all the herbs!"

She hissed, baring her teeth aggressively.

Badgerpaw spat. "Any other cat. But we know plenty about her. She could have hurt us all a lot worse. She's unstable." He pointed his nose accusingly at the wounded she-cat, fury rippling through him. She could have killed me... And Moonspirit. StarClan were merciful.

Her ears flattened, "Your a medicine cat aren't you? I'm busy with my own leader, the one the murderer hurt. There are plenty you can find just outside the clearing" she spat. "There is some Marigold in my den, use that, poppy seeds too, then get that murderer out of here!"

MiracleFur was cursing under her breath, her fur crackling with anger.

She slipped into the den, looking around for herbs. When she found the correct ones, and got out of the den, NeedleHeart disappeared.

NeedleHeart had gripped the kit, and dragged them along. She could tell, by how the blood trail was led out.

"That fast?"

She questioned herself through leaves and seeds.

She shook her head, and thought about taking it over to MoonSpirit.

She didn't dare say a word, taking a few steps away, then dashing off, following the trail and scent.

They Laugh

Ice squealed again. How he hated being carried! He wanted to walk on his own. Otherwise, how else could he grow up big and strong? One day he'd fight Riddlehawk, made him pay, but what would the scarred tom do if he saw him like this? A little kit being carried around. He could see the tabby laughing maniacally at him, and the mere image made his ears feel hot. "I can walk, Needleheart! Le' me down."

"And not a moment too soon," Badgerpaw muttered, glancing from his leader to his mate. "Do you need me to do anything? To help out, I mean." Foxstar didn't look to good, laying there and bleeding. The tom hoped that she would recover. Even with complications, she was still a good leader.

NeedleHeart later on placed Ice down, her ears flickering.

"Sorry.. I wanted to go fast. I wasn't sure if you could keep up, you know.. or when I was leaving that the others would get you.."

She panted, her whole fur covered in blood. She saw MiracleFur hurrying up.

"The late bird comes."

She laughed, but then winced.

MiracleFur glared at NeedleHeart, using cobwebs to try to stop the bleeding, which soon worked.

"I-I'm fine."

She knew she wasn't, but she should at least try to be strong, for the clan.

Ice looked down at his paws, her words troubling him. "I coulda taken care of myself," he muttered under his breath, but somewhat sure that it wasn't true. He watched Miraclefur apply the cobwebs to Needleheart's body. The stink of so much blood overwhelmed his sense of smell; he wrinkled his nose as he sat. "Are you gonna be okay?" he asked.

Before Falling In The Black

NeedleHeart licked the top of the kit's forehead gently.

"Ice, I'm sure you could take care of yourself, I was just trying to make sure.."

She sighed, then winced when the marigold's juice started to sting in her cuts.

"I'll be fine. Remember, I'm a great warrior!"

When she said that, MiracleFur laughed, but then went quiet.

"She's right, Ice. She is fine, they are just really long. Not really deep."

She didn't mention the great warrior part, even though NeedleHeart did do pretty well with the other cats with only three good legs.

Ice brightened up, looking at the two she-cats. "Yeah, that's right! Needleheart, you were so brave. That black and white tom didn't stand a chance!" His blue eyes gleamed as he replayed the scrimage in his mind. Could you teach me to fight like that?"

NeedleHeart smiled down at the little kit. Her tail tip twitched.

"Of course. I was planning on teaching you, remember?"

SHe liked how Ice was brightening up, and how fast he wanted to learn.

"I'll teach you how to hunt, too."

She grinned.

She sighed, NeedleHeart nodding her head slightly.

"So.. where to?"

To be honest, MiracleFur didn't want to go anywhere. Her paws ached, and worry was prickling at the ends of her fur.

Delusions Of

Ice raised his tail in excitement. "Great!" he purred. He couldn't wait to learn everything Needleheart knew, to hunt and fight as well as a Clan cat. He flexed out his claws as he imagined fighting like she had, and the thrill of catching prey. There were no downsides. Then he turned to Miraclefur, and tilted his head. He really had no idea. Ice had been tagging along, but he had no clue where they had planned on going, if anywhere. "I guess no Clan territory," he mewed, remembering the problems that had come from doing so.

Grandeur

NeedleHeart let out a smile, getting up slowly.

"I know where.. I've heard of a place."

She looked towards the gorge.

"LurkClan's old camp."

She concluded.

"We can stay out there, and live there."

Of course, NeedleHeart didn't know that the old WindClan warrior was there, and that it was starting to rebuild, just real slow.

MiracleFur grimaced, but nodded. She couldn't help herself but agree, obey. She had to follow.

She didn't like it, and she tried not to, but she had to. She couldn't control her body, not that much anyways.

"Fine.. Let's get going."

She grunted, getting up slowly.
