FoxStar narrowed her eyes, and took a step back. She didn't like the tone in her medicine cat's voice, but she ignored it.

MiracleFur openned her mouth to speak, but was cut off by NeedleHeart's screeching and yelling.

Moonspirit was startled by the snarl, "Miriclefur, stay back." she said, bounding towards Needleheart. "What are you doing here?" she hissed coldly.

Ice stood a little behind Needleheart, and the sudden snarls was getting his fur puffed up. What was going on now? Did every Clan have something against her? He was tired of cats throwing insults in their direction, and had thought it was over with now that they had left ThunderClan. Apparently he had been wrong.

MiracleFur shouldered past MoonSpirit, and gave her an uneasy glance. She sat behind NeedleHeart, beside Ice. She muttered in his ear.

"Don't worry, little one."

NeedleHeart glanced at FoxStar, and kept her cool.

"I'm not here to wreck your clan, only for my traveling companion, MiracleFur."

FoxStar glanced behind MiracleFur, her eyes pierced cold.

"How dare you all! Traveling with a murderer!"

She looked at the kit, and went over to pick him up by the scruff, but NeedleHeart made sure that didn't happen, by whacking her forepaw at her head, claws sheathed.

When Foxstar had reached down to pick him up by the scruff, Ice ducked backward quickly to avoid her jaws. After Needleheart had swiped at the leader he hissed at the orange she-cat with his fur still puffed up. He didn't like the idea of being picked up by a stranger. And Needleheart's words made his ear twitch. Was she really this protective of him? He wasn't even her kit. But it only troubled him a little, and he was able to put it behind him and focus on the WindClan she-cats.
