Oh, FoxStar was irritated. She was upset. She was dragging the limp black and white heap of fur, which was her old deputy. The she-cat was ripping things to shreds on the inside, but on the outside, tears were slipping out of her crystal blue eyes.
She placed the corpse in the middle of the clearing, dipping her head slowly, knowing that others were watching. FoxStar may of never really spoke to her, but she was a friend. The orange she-cat slowly rose to her black feet, raising her white muzzle in the air. She took a sniff, and whispered a few words.
Afterwards, she slowly padded up to the high rock, her senses getting better. This was a sign, a sign that she was offically accepted. Oh, but FoxStar won't take that so easily, but she knew for sure now that she was staying. Staying for revenge.
She leapt with ease and elegantly up on the high rock, her muscles being shown under her thin fur. When she landed elegantly, she flickered her whiskers, thinking carefully. She wasn't quite sure on how to face the clan, but she soon figured it out.
She wasn't going to announce a deputy, she was only going to make Badgerpaw a warrior. Oh, yes, that is all. Badgerpaw did his fair share, but she was still thinking about SwiftFire.
She slowly turned around, looking like a true leader, almost. She licked her lips slowly, her pink tongue going over her black nose. It looked as if she was savoring the flavor of the perfect rabbit, one that was huge and full of sweet meat.
She was thinking carefully still, trying to remember the words of the ceremony. Oh, but she thinks that she will wait a while. Anticipation was gripping her paws like a claw raking across an enemy clan cat's flank.
She took a deep breath, and then took a step, to where you could almost see her pink pads against the cold stone. Her white claws were unsheathed, slowly gripping against the edge. She forgot how scary it was to scan across the cats, but she soon got over her fear, her claws sheathing once more.
She cleared her throat once, so the whole clan could hear her clearly. She didn't have to call them out, for they were already out. Mostly because most knew about the death, and most could smell the sharp tang.
"Cats of WindClan, I see you have noticed the Deputy's death. I am upset about it, but we must move on, for these are harsh times right now. I understand that it was our Deputy, but with this, it made something rather harsh. I am sorry if you feel offended."
She rolled her shoulders a bit, soon hearing SpottedTail's remark, which made her tense.
"Who will be the new Deputy?"
FoxStar was silent for a few moments, and moved on.
"We may have a feast tonight, and then tomorrow have a good day of hunting. I expect to see a few hunting patrols out, gathering a lot of fresh kill. We need to build our strength and speed, and I want Apprentice's to be trained more. Mostly with fighting."
She looked determined, she wanted to end RiverClan, once and for all. She didn't like them, not one bit, not no more.
"I will head to the HighStones soon, to see if I can be accepted, for my senses have been getting better. I think that is a sign, a very good sign indeed."
She closed her eyes for many moments, and took a long sigh.
"Any questions?"
