The black and white tom was still following, his eyes narrowed, determined. He wasn't soft anymore, rather cold-hearted, at least, partially.

He didn't know that he was being followed as well, by ScarShadow, since he paid no attention. All he wanted was to talk with GoldenFur.

"Wait up!"

He spat, trying to catch up even more.

ScarShadow kept following, doing this with ease, and grace. This was quite easy for him, not even a challenge. He knew where all the logs, rocks, holes and everything else. He didn't know what was to come up ahead, but he can tell that he would be needed.

No, not in a helping manner, more in a killing manner, maybe. Oh, he loved to kill, to watch creature's blood ooze, but now wasn't the time to think about that.

"What do you want Cowspot? What can I do to make you leave me alone?" She hissed, annoyance in her gaze. "I've told you I have forgiven you, what else do you want?"

The tom had paused, catching his breath for a moment. He stared at GoldenFur, and shrugged.

"I don't know. I want to be friends again, I guess."

He looked away.

ScarShadow noticed how CowSpot stopped, so he ducked in some ferns. His amber eyes stared curiously at the two, his claws digging in the ground.

He wanted to leap out and slash at both of them, but he knew he couldn't, not yet.

Goldenfur sighed, "I guess, but wouldn't it be awkward-after all that has happened?" She mewed, regret filling her eyes, she sat down, sighing to herself. All anger washed away from her, her eyes filled with a mild sadness.

The tom stared back at her, ice gripping in his gaze.

"This is what happens in a clan! Don't you realize that?"

He spat, a low growl coming from his throat.

"Bad things happen, then good things rebirth!"

His tail lashed back and forth.

She looked away, "I know things rebirth. But not always for the better. War like this brings out the worse in some cats, ya'know Cowspot."

Koella snuck along quietly. She was curious as to why Cowspot was spending time with this she-cat and not mommy. In her young eyes she didn't realize that old cats had friends too. She peered out of a bush and saw sorrow in Goldenfur's eyes. Koella leapt from the bush so that she was ontop of her father. "Daddy why aren't you with Mommy?", she asked not really sure what to make out of Goldenfur and her big puppy eyes.

Goldenfur smiled for a moment, she was a mother at heart. But her mate was dead and no tom could really replace him. Kits always warmed her, she turned back to the two cats. "Yeah, Roka will want you." She mewed.

Koella frowned. "What are you doing with Daddy, Goldenfur?", she asked not really understanding what was going on. "You can't love my Daddy.", she said frowning once more.

CowSpot blinked, and looked over his shoulder to see Koella.

"I was just talking, we needed to discuss the past."

He said smoothly, licking his daughter behind the ears, only to see Koe slipping out.

"I told you that he wasn't our father. He's too busy messing around with this she-cat."

The kit growled.

ScarShadow blinked, and took a few steps back. He didn't know what was going on, but he didn't care anymore. He lost interest.

He turned, and left to go back to camp.

"Let's play Koe!", she smiled. It had been moons since they had played as just kits.

The black and white kit looked at his sister, and snorted.

"Like what?"

He wasn't very fond of games, or playing, all he wanted to do was cause trouble and argue.

"Urgh you are no fun anymore. You are like an old man.", she smiled running back to camp.

Koe blinked slowly, his fur prickling. He cuffed her sister's ear.

He teased, chasing her.

Koella ran clawing her way into a tree. She stuck her tongue out at her brother and snickered. "Come and get me!", she giggled.
