Tigerstorm glanced to Spottedstar, he could tell she liked this she-cat. That's what worried him. 'Oh please don't choose me to mentor this kit...please don't choose me to mentor this kit...' He thought to himself, glancing from his leader to Flora. This little she-cat was so full of questions and energy....he didn't know if he could deal with that. He had never been so close to the kits in the nursery and all, he just didn't do great with these little cats...

Then he saw how Flora was looking at him and how her ears drooped when she figured he didn't want to teach. Could he really let her down like this..? He glanced to Spottedstar, then sighed. "I'll mentor her...I haven't had an apprentice anyway." He said calmly, looking to Flora and smiling lightly. "So..will she keep her name, Spottedstar?"

Spottedstar pondered the thought. "I suppose that would be up to her." She looked down at the kit. "In Clans, different endings are added to names depending on rank. For example, if you were born in ShadowClan, you would be Florakit. When you would become an apprentice, you would become Florapaw. Then, when you were made warrior, I would assign you a new ending depending on personality or appearance. Would you like to go along with something like this?"

She quickly bounced up and down when TigerStorm said she would mentor her. She was so excited!

She let out a huge purr, and gave TigerStorm a lick on the cheek, and nuzzled SpottedStar, then sat down when she started speaking.

"Interesting.. I don't think I want Flora anymore though.."

"You don't have to be. I can give you a new name. A new start, with a new family." The ginger and white she-cat smiled confidantly and raised her chin. "One that won't treat you like a worthless scrap."

Tigerstorm blinked in surprise as she purred and licked his cheek. So much affection from something...so small. He smiled lightly, looking to Spottedstar with amusement. Then he glanced back to Flora, raising a brow. "Oh? Then what would you like to be?"

When SpottedStar said that, her purr grew louder.

"Yay!"

She paused, looking at TigerStorm.

"I-I-I don't know.."

She looked down.

"Don't worry too much about that now. There will be time for thought later." Spottedstar laid her ginger tail across the she-kits's back. "But we better head back to camp now before it gets too late and the Clan thinks we've gone missing."

Her tail shot up high, and was willing to go to the camp.

"Then let's get going," she purred. Flicking her ear, signaling to Tigerstorm, she began leading the way towards ShadowClan's camp.

The whole time she walked to the camp, she was purring loudly. When she was walking, some of the mud were starting to strip off, the really loose parts, that is. She will have to bite and nibble at the others later.

Tigerstorm dipped his head to Spottedstar and continued onwards to camp. He glanced back to Flora before shaking his head and looking straight ahead again. He....had an apprentice? And ths kit? Nothing would be the same again.
