Venus winced at the remark, "What did we ever do to you Flora, Love you, cherish you, work our pads to the bone when my sister stole you from us. No, you didn't see the battle we had after you were gone did you? But you didn't have to see it to know we were doing it for all of you!" she snarled, she looked back at her beloved Clear, who never remarked on her blindness, but helped her see a new light, and life. for that she owed him everything.

PheonixPaw hissed, baring her teeth at her mother and father.

"Appearently you aren't just blind from your eyes! But from reality as well! You didn't see how much pain I was in, how horrible I felt under your guys' stern words. I was going to save the others, but no! You had to yell and scream!"

She crouched low to the ground, as if they were doing that once more.

Then she sat back upright, pressing her flank close to TigerStorm's.

"You didn't see.. You didn't realize..."

Clear copied, and then spat.

"We thought you might of got killed!"

"Leave, Leave, Leave!"

PheonixPaw exclaimed, pressing her flank even closer to TigerStorm's.

Tigerstorm sat and watched in silence, unsure if he should get involved in this family disput. But then he saw how much it was bothering Phoenixpaw, pain and anger in her eyes. This couldn't go on anymore. He grimaced, getting to his paws and looking to the other two cats. "I do not know about your family, but Phoenixpaw is part of our family now. And she wishes for you to leave, and so do I. Shadowclaw does not accept trepassing on our territory. As she said, leave."

All PheonixPaw saw was a paw lunging out, which made PheonixPaw dig her face into TigerStorm's kit.

Oh yes, Clear wasn't too happy. He did lunge a paw, right at TigerStorm's face.

"We will get our daughter, you kit-nappers!"

PheonixPaw was trembling, making a whimpering noise. She felt as if she was stuck in a corner, a badger right there before her eyes. But no, she was scared of her father, which is even worse.

Then all of a sudden, she heard a battle-cry.

Her head rose, seeing CareFeather dash right over to Clear, bowling him over. She dug her black claws into his shoulders, hissing her white teeth in his face.

Her black pelt shown with fury, and bristled with rage.

"Get out of my territory!"

The reason why she didn't attack Venus, was because she was blind. She couldn't do that, she was too caring for that.

But when it came to her territories, and a loner was in camp, she would go nut-crazy.

She hated it. She hated loners and rogues. They don't deserve to live, not to her.

Clear growled up at the she-cat.

"Not without my daughter!"

CareFeather soon figured it out. She sheathed her claws, got up, and looked at PheonixPaw, then at TigerStorm.

She huffed.

"If I were you TigerStorm, I'd give PheonixPaw to her parents, so they can leave!"

She hissed, with her hackles raising, then going over in the Warrior's den.

Venus's fur bristled, she was flat on the ground, almost unsure of who's hiss was who's. She turned to her daughter's scent, and then to Clear's.

I See You

Hearing all the noise in the clearing, Brokenpaw had sleepily crawled out of the apprentice's den. But when the scents of loner came to him, his amber eyes opened wide. He could see Phoenixpaw, Tigerstorm, and Carefeather just turning to leave, along with a male and female loner. The tortoiseshell apprentice growled and bounded over to the invaders, standing near his Clanmates and bristling. "What's going on here?" He snarled, trying to sound tough.

Venus turned her blank eyes to the newcomer, then back to Clear. "They took our daughter." she hissed, turning to the ShadowClanners.

"Don't let them take me!"

She whined, her eyes wide full of fear, and pain.

"I did everything for you! I raised you for moons, I fed you-gave all the love from myself and showered you with it! We looked for you everywhere, everywhere!" She wailed, leaning into Clear.

Stand Up

Brokenpaw was both shocked and confussed by what he was hearing, but he found the side he could agree with. He turned to Phoenixpaw's parents and hissed in defiance. "If Phoenixpaw doesn't want to go with you, she shouldn't have to." Just like with Tears, he recalled bitterly, but that wasn't priority right now. "She's a ShadowClan cat now."

"She was our daughter first!" Venus spat, "Her brothers and sisters, Clear and I need her more than you do!" Venus stayed beside Clear, she couldn't fight these cats even if she tried, and she wanted to very badly.

Tigerstorm hadn't expected the blow and he winced as he felt blood trickle down his cheek as Clear sliced it. All these new voices broke in and he didn't have a chance to speak, but then finally a spot from him to talk came in. "Enough! Everyone, just be quiet!" His deep voice boomed above the rest calling for silence. He looked straight to Clear with determination. "I propose a fight. Between me and you. Whoever wins, Phoenixpaw goes with. I still think we should listen to her decision, but do you agree to this?"

PheonixPaw's eyes welled up in tears. She couldn't take this, no, no, no.

"No! I don't want to go with them!"

She just scooted closer to TigerStorm, until he proposed that fight.

Her optics shook, she didn't want to see him in pain. She didn't want this to happen, not because of her.

"I-I don't want to cause ShadowClan t-t-trouble.. I'll go w-w-with them..."

Her fur was all the way up, bristling in fear, pain, and depression.

Tigerstorm was just about to speak and make the agreement when he heard Phoenixpaw speak up. His eyes widened in surprise and a little hurt. She would....go with them? Though he had a hard time admitting to anyone, he had grown attached to this young apprentice. Kinda like...she was his own. He had never been that way about anyone, always the loner, silent warrior that never felt anything even after a job well done. But she made it different to him. And she was going to leave? He turned to her, bending down so he was eye level and looking her straight in the eyes with two green-yellow, gentle orbs. "Phoenixpaw...you don't have to. I can win, easily, and you can stay here with us. You don't believe I can? I don't wish for you to go..."
