Tanglestar walked into the clearing calmly and smoothly. The blood of Stareyes burning on her paws, it was time for all of this mess to be straitened out. "Spottedstar", she called waiting patiently. Whether her warriors had followed her or not she didn't care. All she cared about the safety of her family.

Shadowheart rushed from the den, tears streaming down her face. "Oh StarClan, wont they stop!" she whined. She stood beside the entrance, fur fluffed and her eyes clamped shut. She saw Tanglestar and squeaked, "Tanglestar. Spottedstar is a little busy at the moment."

Shadowfang rose from where she was laying and walked up to the Thunderclan leader and nodded in greeting "I suppose your here about Dirtfur?" she mewed.

"No, shes here about Stareyes." Shadowheart sniffed. "Shadowfang, care to get Dirtfur before Spottedstar kills him." she asked kindly.

Heartpaw padded up to her mom, "Ma? Why are ThunderClan cats here?" she asked, her big eyes looking into Shadowheart's.

"No reason darling, go see your mentor." she mewed, nosing her daughter towards the Warriors den."

"But Ma, I want to stay here!"

"No, go now." she said, flatter this time. Heartpaw scampered up the clearing to find her mentor.

Shadowfang looked to Shadowheart "Yes I know but this is also about Dirtfur and I will see to that our guest is comfortable while you go fetch Spottedstar and Dirtfur" she mewed then looked back to Tanglestar.

"I can't go back in there! My leader and my mate fighting! Well arguing, I can't choose my side. Please go." She begged.

Tanglestar sighed fighting back the tears. "If your leader is to busy to hear my words so be it but I have an urgent matter to tell of.", she winced scenting Dirtfur all over. She tried to ebb the fury as it leaked into her mind, tempting her to run up and just kill him. "Stop your wimpering!", she snapped towards Shadowheart. "Grow a spine! And no I am not here for Dirtfur, I am here on the behalf of my entire clan", she hissed trying to stay calm.

Shadowfang looked to her once more " You should know your side, Yes he is your mate but will you choose your mate over your respected leader?" she mewed not moving her eyes from her. Shadowfang now wanted to know more, she was after all next in line to be leader. Could she trust Shadowheart not to turn her back on her?

Shadowheart whipped her head towards the den, "Fine! I shall get her, but you don't dare judge my loyalty towards a cat who has given her own flesh and blood to this clan five times over." she spat, padding into the den.

Tanglestar sighed rolling her eyes at Shadowheart. "Hello Shadowfang! How has clan life been as a deputy?", she asked trying to change the conversation.

Shadowfang smiled "It has been quite good actually but yes there is a lot of drama with the job, how has your life been besides being leader and everything happening?" she asked sitting down.

Tanglestar grimaced at the thought of her life. "I have had little time for a life since Dirtfur is picking off my warriors one by one", she sighed knowing a good grooming with Sunflash was long overdue.

Shadowfang still smiled "Well not to worry I believe once you and Spottedstar are done with him there will be no more problems." she mewed. The black she-cats bright green eyes were wide with excitement for she loved times like these. She got to learn new ways for when she became leader and how to deal with different things that might pop up as she went.

"Tanglestar?" the leader called out as she padded from her den. Her amber eyes were working not to let emotion show. She could only guess that the ThunderClan leader would not be on friendly terms after what had happened just outside the camp. But this wasn't the time to talk about that if she could help it, much less think about it. Tanglestar had already been on her way to camp, according to Dirtfur, before the incident, so it must have been something else. Spottedstar dipped her head to the she-cat. "I presume you had a purpose coming into my camp?" Her mew was flat with the possibility of becoming hostile or pleasant with whatever came next.

Shadowheart came out too, ignoring the other cats and bowing her head, going over to get a piece of fresh-kill. She was starving.
