Stargaze slid into the clearing, the young, shy tom sitting off by himself. His eyes were cautious, nervous even. He knew that Spottedstar wouldn't give him an apprentice, knew she disliked him. Always did, since he left and went to Thunderclan as an apprentice. But it hadn't really been his choice. He had come back hadn't he? Still, the white flecked black tom gazed on, his ears pinned back in fear. Why he was always so afraid, no one knew.

PheonixSoul didn't care if she had an apprentice or not. She didn't really want one, honestly... She still felt hurt because of the BrokenFlame/LavenderPelt thing. She wasn't sure how to speak to BrokenFlame anymore. Maybe he didn't care.

Her eyes spotted StarGaze and she dashed over there. She wanted to get closer to someone else. She needed a new best friend. And, he was her first choice.

None of the other she-cats was nice to her. No other toms. So... yeah.

Brokenflame scoffed at her retort, giving her a flirty flick of his tail to her shoulder. "If you weren't looking for me, then I'll just have to deal with whichever tom you were looking for." The tortoiseshell tom put on an aggressive face, and glared around the clearing at his Clanmates' faces, pretending to find a cat. "Don't tell me I have competition."

Stargaze looked at Phoenixsoul with a start. "Oh....uhm.....h-hi." He stammered out, the stutter he had had as a kit having come back into effect lately. Well...ever since he had come back from Thunderclan.

PheonixSoul nudged his shoulder gently, and smiled at StarGaze. She liked how he was being shy and rather... well, uneasy. I think it is because of the ThunderClan situation.

Which was true. She was not just saying that to flirt... She meant it. Kind of.

PheonixSoul looked down at her paws. She now started to feel like he was acting like this because of her. She wasn't a good cat to begin with... and she was from the loner-lands... she wasn't pure clan... she was... not even clan. Ugh.

PheonixSoul stopped in her step, and turned her head around. Her tail lashed a bit. It was because of her. She knew it.

"Then start talkin'! I understand you're shy, but, really? I know you can say something!!!" she hissed, but tried to not say it in a rude manner, more kinda symphatetic. If that's even the word...

Stargaze glanced back up, his eyes wide and a bit frightened. "I-I-I can't........" He stammered out, his expression a bit reproachful and scared. "I d-dont m-mean to...." His voice was soft. "N-nobody here likes m-me.....not s-since what happened with Th-th-thunderclan." He finished, trying to steady his voice a bit.

"I like you, and that should be all that matters!" she hissed, and stomped back towards him, "You act like no one likes you, when you know they do. It wasn't your fault that you had to go to ThunderClan. You came back, didn't ja?"

Her tail lashed back and forth, while her claws scratched upon the earth, "So, cheer up for once, and realize what you have around you!"

She nudged his shoulder gently with her nose, and tried to make him talk even more.

"T-then what's w-with all the l-l-looks? The things I h-hear them wh-whisper b-behind my b-back? 'T-traitor.' I hear it all th-the t-time." Stargaze said, his eyes dropping back down to his paws. This was probably the most he'd said in a long time. Ever since what had happened with Thunderclan, after he'd been possessed by that Starclan cat, he hadn't really said much in the way of anything. Mainly just keeping to himself.

"Look at me. Ignore them. They don't mean anything," she said this rather softly, padding a bit closer to the tom. She was trying to be as nice as she can.

"I don't think you're a traitor. It wasn't your fault, okay? I know that. You should, too..." she looked down at her paws, feeling a bit embarrassed. She was good at talking to cats, but... she never actually talked this NICE to one before, without some sort of... plot.

"I like you, and that should be all that matters. At least you have at least one cat who likes you... I know no one likes me in this clan," she gave a slight chuckle, "I'm not even ShadowClan. I have no clan blood in me.."

Stargaze looked at her.. His eyes were sort of bloodshot, but not because he was going to cry. "Neith er am I......." He said softly, his eyes cast away again in an instant. "M-my sister lives in Windclan........" He said, his ears slightly pinned back.
