Rainwing shook his head. "No, that's just it. She's hardly said a word to me! It's something else....I don't know what though and I don't suppose she'll tell me. I'm an outsider after all." He shrugged, shaking his head. "But let's meet with Starclan. They've even been silent with me for a while, so I wish to see what's going on up there." He said, nudging her gently towards te entrance.

MiracleFur butted in, her whiskers twitching a bit.

"I think I know why, RainWing. She had an incident, which I am not allowed to really tell, since it was a secret, but I suppose it happened already, and it probably doesn't help that I left."

She paused for a moment.

"Don't tell anyone that I came, and be right back."

She took a few steps back, and called out.

"Ice, come on, come see what you are missing. I know you're there."

She laughed a bit.

I See You Now

Dappledfrost blinked at Miraclefur's words, understanding. Its was about the kits. Firestar must have had them by now, and was most likely trying to keep them a secret. But, of course, Rainwing still had a point. As a cat from another Clan, the RiverClan leader would still probably have a hard time confiding anything in him. When Miraclefur turned and bounded off the medicine cat followed her with her eyes in curiosity. From where she stayed, she heard the she-cat call out a name. Ice, she realized with a start. So Clawpaw had been right, and the kit had tracked the medicine cat here. Her brown pelt prickled, and she barely noticed Rainwing give her a nudge. "We better go on in," she mewed quickly, nudging her apprentice to go ahead of her. She didn't want him to go through another run-in with the spirit of Froststorm.

You Found Me

Ice's ears fell back as Miraclefur called out his name. Great, now every cat would know he'd followed them. Grudgingly he sulked out from behind the undergrowth with a frown on his face. "I thought I had done a good job. I didn't think you'd notice me." He flicked his ears, glancing at the Clan cats. He wasn't sure he wanted to be around more cats. There were at least three who he'd had bad encounters with and wasn't eager to say hello. "I think I'll stay over here."

MiracleFur gave MoonSpirit a glance, not a good one at all. When Ice arrived, she took a few steps forward, licking the top of his head.

"You did wonderful, I just always have a feeling when you're near. But really, come, I want to show you something that is wonderful. You won't regret it."

She purred, flicking the top of her tail against his ear.

Ice kept his grimace in place. He wanted to believe her, but he found that difficult to do. "But, Miraclefur, they don't like me. These are the cats who glare at me, and talk bad about Froststorm." He looked down at his paws. "Besides, Needleheart probably wouldn't like it." Now he was remembering the second she-cat asleep in the badger set. She wouldn't want him to be socializing with these cats, or be near them at all for that matter.

She frowned.

"Remember, I'm there. And, besides, they don't really do that, it's a medicine cat meeting. I know I am not an offical one, but I still uphold the code."

She paused for a moment.

"I really do want to show you something in there, you will be excited, most likely. I do know that you will stare in awe, for every cat has who has come. And, an apprentice always comes here once in their training."

She grinned, and nudged his cheek gently.

"Just say you were following me, and I didn't know! Wanted to practice your tracking skills!"

She purred.

Rainwing was going to go in when he heard the familiar name and his fur stood on end. Ice. He frowned, turning around in the entrance and looking to Miraclefur without a word. When she spoke of him coming to the moonstone, he bared his teeth. "No cats besides leaders and medicine cats are allowed in there Miraclefur, it's sacred!" He retorted angrily. It truly wasn't because of his dislike of the other tom but he could even feel the Starclan cats near him getting a bit agitated. If Miraclefur tried it, he could tell they would speak up.

Defiance Is My Spirit

Ice looked past the she-cat to where Rainwing held his ground, and he bared his fangs in a snarl. "But you see? They don't want me here." His blue eyes were cold. He knew the tabby was much older and stronger than he was, still just a kit of five moons, but all the same he wanted to hurl himself at the ThunderClan cat with flaring claws. The burning feelings in his belly were returning, making it hard to think of much else. But then he smiled deviously and flicked his tail. "But yeah, I think I'll go on in anyway." Ice knew that would spite the medicine cat, and that was the closest thing he could get to a successful attack. "I would almost be an apprentice. There's no harm in me seeing what's so special about this place."

MiracleFur turned her gaze at RainWing, her eyes narrowing. She never disliked this tom, but if he thought just because Ice resembled FrostStorm, that he couldn't go in, he was dead wrong.

"RainWing, he is allowed! You know that, all apprentices have to visit before they become a warrior!"

She growled, her fur starting to prickle.

"{b]Not to mention, just because he reminds you of someone, doesn't mean you have to hate him!

She could sense the rage coming off of Ice, let alone a very little faint scent of his fear. She unsheathed her claws, standing defensively in front of Ice, baring her fangs.[/size][/center]

Ice flicked his tail at her words in agreement. "Right. Just think of me as one of your precious Clan apprentices. I'm not any different from on of them, and there's no law that says I can't see whatever's in there." His little chin was still raised in defiance, as he was feeling awfully smart and cheeky. Rainwing couldn't tell him what to do.

Can't Be Real

Dappledfrost looked uneasily at the kit. "Miraclefur, I don't think it's such a wise idea. If he's what we all think, StarClan won't be happy if we let him tag along after us." She could see how the she-cat was standing over him for protection, and she didn't really like that either. Miraclefur had been the first to suggest the idea of a secret behind the kit's existance, so she should have known. The medicine cat held back anouther bout of coughing.

Rainwing ignored Ice, turning to Miraclefur. "You know that's exactly why he can't go in there, that's why you and Needleheart are "watching" over him. Starclan doesn't like it, you can feel them! It's not just my feelings, it's theirs!" He shook his head, standing his ground. He wasn't in an agressive state, but if Ice pushed him further her just might be soon. [/size]

Just You Try

Ice's pale tabby fur bristled at his words. "You can't tell me what I can or can't do! I'll go in if I want, and neither you or this StarClan can do anything about it." The young tom had never been told about StarClan during his time among RiverClan, and as far as he knew there were only the four Clans of the forest, so Rainwing must have been making something up to scare him or something. Well, it wasn't going to work.

MiracleFur kept her ground, staring angerily at RainWing, ignoring DappledFrost.

"Rainwing, they wouldn't care. If it is what we actually thought to begin with, then it was their choice! StarClan watches over every cat, kit, apprentice, everyone, they don't hate anybody, they will allow any cat in there!"

Her fur still bristled, and then looked at MoonSpirit.

"Excuse me? He isn't a clan apprentice? So what! He is NeedleHeart's apprentice, and he used to be RiverClan, and so was she. It doesn't concern you, and you should stay out of it, Medicine Cat or not.

He will come, weither you guys like it or not."

Her eyes skimmed across the other cats, watching their reactions. Medicine Cats weren't supposed to fight one another, but she would do it, she had the ferocity, and she knew RainWing did too.
