Training and Battling the Sun (Moonblossom)

Nightpaw kept to the shade as he walked with his mentor to the training grounds. It had not been a fun morning so far and sleep was still clawing at his mind. The few drops of sunlight still hitting his fur through the shade didn't help. The warmth from those little points of light relaxed the muscles they touched, and it was getting harder and harder to reawaken them. He was stumbling more then walking and he was lagging far behind his mentor. His eye lids weighed a ton. He was fighting a losing battle with the sun. Soon Nightpaw just collapsed to the ground already in a dead sleep. He was out of the shade sun hitting him full on now, making his sleeping form warm.

Moonblossom kept a few steps ahead of her tiny apprentice looking back every now and then. she watched as he lagged behind her with each step made, the warming sun hitting their pelts directly. She kept her tail up for balance, and continued to keep a good pace until she heard a small thump from a few fox-lengths behind her. She inwardly rolled her eyes and turned around to see her apprentice on the floor.

She walked over to him and nudged him slightly her ears leaned forward and her tail now down swishing back and forth.

"Nightpaw wake up. I know its warm and all but this is not how apprentices should start off." she said as she continued to paw at him.
