Whispertail fled back to camp. He sat down next to the fresh kill pile thinking for awhile. Till Moonhigh to have a cat join or war breaks out with the clan. If a cat were to join there would be no war with Shadowclan. Runningpath and Swiftstar would be safe and free to be together... He was decided. He looked around the camp one last time and up to the stars. "Starclan protect me" He said softly before dashing off towards the gorge.

RunningPath saw WhisperTail stop at the camp, then go in the direction of the gorge. What is he, mouse-Brained?! She suddenly dashed after him, being a tail-length away. Maybe... I am close enough to jump.. no.. too far.. She bolted closer, now in-line with him. "Whispertail, what are you doing?!" She asked, concern in her voice.

Whispertail kept running he didn't even look. That would make him stop go back. Those eyes... He couldnt stop. "Go back Runningpath, I'm just going to Highstones." He lied convincingly.

RunningPath looked at him, still keeping pace. "Then I'll go with you." She couldn't leave him, couldnt' leave his side now, not when she knew how much she did actually love him, how much she has to protect him now. "Can you look at me..? And stop for a second though..?"

"Fine!" He stopped and turned looking at the ground. "You cant come. I'm not really going to Highstones i'm going to join Lurkclan. you will be safe. and you can be with Swiftstar safely."

RunningPath stopped at her tracks, standing there motionless, her dream zooming back through her mind. She snapped, looking at him, "No! I had a dream.. talked to Starclan, and your brother, who I didn't know about, tells me that it was about someone who I loved deeply's future!" She hissed, her back arched, her fur standing on end, "And all I can think of, is You!" She suddenly stopped, her gaze fixed on the ground, her fur flat down. Her ears were drooping, noticing what she just did. "..I'm sorry.." She meant it, she didn't want to hurt him, she didn't want to do anything that harmed him.

"Just tell me...Do you love him?" He asked desperatly looking from the ground to her face meekly.

RunningPath blinked, looking at her, in his eyes. Whoever he meant by 'him' it wasn't true. I only love WhisperTail! "Whispertail.. the only one I love.. is you.." She looked down at her forepaws, still feeling bad for putting her anger out on him. She scuffled them, sighing, not exactly positive if he felt the same for her, which she did, but she didn't want to admit it.

"I just saw you with Swiftstar and I thought..." He drifted off and stopped talking shifting nervously on his paws. "Sorry I just freaked out"

RunningPath's paws scuffled, then looked up at him, "I only did that, to help the clan.." She pressed her muzzle against WhisperTail's, giving it a swift lick. "You're the only one I want." She purred, scooting closer to him.
