Relaxing (Poppy, Crookedheart, open)

Mossflower's small head poked up from her nest as she awoke. She looked around the dark nursery. It felt so weird being alone in here. She had recently moved into here since they found out she was pregnant with Flairheart's kits. But no one else was in here. She was all alone. She got up, and out of the nest she stayed in. She looked around once more. At least it was peaceful in here. She sighed and headed for the exit of the den.

She looked at the sun when she got out of the den. It blinded her at first, but she adapted to the brightness. She looked at her paws. She hadn't started to get fatter yet, thank goodness. It was the early days of her pregnancy so she didn't have the swollen stomach and it was heavy at all. She probably could still go hunt with the warriors if she wanted to.

Flairheart appeared out of the warriors den stretching quickly and heading towards the queens den as he always did first thing in the morning lately since his mate Mossflower had moved to the Nursery. He noticed that she had come outside. She looked as beautiful as always. He walked over to her rubbing his head against her neck in hello. "How are you feeling today?" He asked tenderly waiting to see if she needed anything. There was Flairheart always making sure everything was taken care of.

Mossflower purred as Flairheart came over. "Hello, Flairheart. I feel fine at the moment, just hungry. I was heading for the fresh-kill pile," she meowed softly. She looked at her paws, then into Flairheart's eyes. She intertwined her tail with his and stared lovingly into his eyes. She moved closer to her mate and licked his ear.

[CROOKY]

Flairheart looked a little shy, what in starclans name had he done to get such a beautiful mate. "You look lovely today." He commented licking her face and then running off to the fresh kill pile and bringing back a rabbit for them to share. "Rabbit sound okay?" He asked meekly.

Mossflower looked down, flattered by Flairheart's comment. She meowed, "Thank you, Flairheart." She watched as he ran to the fresh-kill and came speeding back with a rabbit in his mouth. "Mmm. Rabbit sounds perfect." She looked at the rabbit, then to Flairheart, love in her eyes. "Do I look different? Have I gotten fatter or anything?" she asked, wondering what he really thought.

[CROOKY]

Flairheart set the rabbit down and gleamed with positivity. He looked at the rabbit then back to his mate. "No hunny, You dont look any fatter. And I wouldnt call it fat anyways. Technically its not you." He said slyly looking into her eyes. "You dont look any different physically but you have the eyes of a mother" He said softly licking her cheek

Mossflower smiled at her mate. "Thank you, Flairheart." She shuffled her paws, flattered again. She still wondered how she looked, and what the eyes of a mother looked like. She looked at the rabbit and heard her stomach growl. She laughed at her stomach and took a bite of the rabbit. She savored its taste and swallowed, still looking at Flairheart.

Flairheart purred as he ate the rabbit. "Ooh this is a yummy one! I knew it when I saw it lying there next to the squirrels. I wonder who caught it they must have been a fast runner." He commented making small talk.

Mossflower looked at her mate, smiling. He was so funny sometimes. She laughed and meowed, "It is really good. I'm glad you took it before some apprentice did." She looked lovingly into her mate's eyes, glad she had fallen in love with him. She continued eating, slowly chewing her rabbit.

[CROOKY]

"Well we couldn't have an apprentice eating better than you. It'd get some of the elders talking, saying i don't treat you right." He joked flicking his ears back slightly. "And we wouldn't want them saying that eh." He said absentmindedly.

Mossflower laughed again, almost choking on her piece of rabbit. She meowed, "Yeah, because the kits and apprentices will listen to the elders when they say you don't treat me right. When they grow up they're not going to like you." She smiled at her mate. "Just kidding." She took another bite of the rabbit.

[CROOKY]

"You laugh but its true ha they'll be all over mee before you know it!"" He mewed and swallowed his bite of prey. "Its scary how much influence those elders have."

Mossflower laughed even more. "Yes, I know, honey. Those elders can convince any little innocent kit or apprentice that you're a bad cat," she meowed, taking another bite. She looked down at the rabbit, surprised it was nearly gone. "Do you want the last piece?" she asked, smiling at Flairheart. She licked her paws to clean them.

[CROOKY]

He couldn't stop laughing how his mate amused him. "No dear you have the last bite, you no longer eat for just yourself." He reminded her licking her ears softly. WOW he was about to be a father! He imagined it now his kits being apprenticed! He knew with his and his mates attributes they were sure to take them both proud.

Mossflower looked at Flairheart with grateful eyes. She gulped down the last piece of the rabbit, and laughed again. "I can't wait until they're born. I bet they're going to be great kits, and very beautiful or handsome." she meowed, licking Flairheart's cheek.
