Clear was walking through a marsh, his paws getting a bit muddy. Mud was getting packed in between his claws, his 'toes'. He didn't know where he was at either. He saw frogs, lizards, but nothing really that appetizing. He shook his head, finally getting out of the muddy area. He licked one of his big forepaws, trying to get the mud out of them, his rather long tail swishing. He heard a rustle, his gray head turning around to see a different cat he never seen before. "Yes..?" Was all he managed to say.

Leafheart walked into the clearing carrying a mouse back to camp she smelled the unfamiliar scent the hissed automatically. It was an intruder how dare they come into this territory. Now that she was done with her fit she sat down and licked her fur down. "Hello", She said in a light tone trying to keep the malice out of her mind.

Clear's fur stood on end, quite frightened. He took a step away from the she-cat. "..Hi." His green gaze stared at the she-cat, his gray pelt having splatters of mud. He turned to his flank, trying to lick some of it out, his fur still standing on end out of fear. "Why are you bugging me..?" He asked with a studder, not sure if he was on someone's territory. He never knew who was who's, but every cat has a different' scent.

"I am bugging you well then shall I go", She said with a smirk knowing this was her territory and she didn't have to go anywhere.She stood up and pickked up her mouse and turned to leave.

Clear looked at the she-cat and shook his head, as she turned. "No, I am frightened.." He stood up, his back-feet starting to sink in mud again, "That's just great.. so muddy.." He sighed, and looked at the she-cat. "I should leave, if this is.. your territory.."

"Ha, No one will care unless you steal prey then you become prey", She smirked a bit of humor in her voice. She looked at the muddy cat and laughed again. "you don't know how to walk in the mud do you", She laughed.

Clear looked at the She-cat, seeing how he was being humorous. He puffed out his chest, "Oh Sure I do!" He tried to walk forward, but one of his back-paws stuck in the mud, making him fall back in it. "Okay, maybe I don't." He looked at his muddy self, feeling quite embarrassed. He looked back at the she-cat, and nodded slightly. "So, what be your name?"

"I am Leafheart and try to spread your toes out as much as possible.", She said getting a little bit more serious. This loner was obviously lost and needed some directional skills.

Clear blinked, looking at her. He was quite surprised how the she-cat was helping him, well that is all the cats are doing now, unlike that old one a while back. He nodded, and stood back up, his toes spreading out slightly. He walked out quite easily, "Thanks.." With the mud sticking to his sides, it showed he wasn't really eating that well, but showing he was still eating, barely with any ribs sticking out, but a couple hanging. He looked down at his paws, then back at her. "Should I be going?"

"It really doesn't matter", she said. She heard a small rustling and pounced catching a small squirrel in her mouth. She dropped it near her mouse then layed down.

Clear's ears flicked about, sitting up rather straight. "Am I on territory? What kind of cats do I call you guys?" He blinked, looking down at her, being quite impressed by the catching of the squirrel. His stomach rumbled, but he ignored it, if this was their territory, he can not eat their food.

Leafheart nudged the squirrel towards him. "We are Shadowclan",. She stated simply.

Clear looked at the squirrel, then looked at her. He didn't deserve it, he didn't catch the squirrel. He nudged it back towards her, "I prefer to catch my own, it's more polite that way." He tilted his head, "Why?" He was so confused, RiverClan first, now Shadowclan? What are these Clans? Confused.. are they called.. ClanCats as well?.. I heard my parents say 'be warned by Clancats..' is that what these are..? ClanCats..?

"Ha i get it you don't want to take prey from us clan-cats or is just because i am a girl.", She smirked picking her squirrel back up and dropping it next to the mouse. "You should have taken it because if you get caught with prey from our territory you are a dead cat no matter who you meet.", She said in a grave tone. She was quite serious and had the most serious expression she could pull off. She looked up at the sun not finding it. She stood up and looked around. She found it lower than she expected. "It is late I must be going.", She said and picked up her prey and started back to camp.

Clear's ears flicked. So I was right, these are the cats that my parents warned me about. "No, I think it is just more polite, I do it to everyone, but sure, if you are a girl then I would do it more recently." He just sighed when she went to walk off, "Sure, by the way, the name's Clear." He thought it fit him well, for not being known, people hardly paying attention now-a-days. He stood up, and walked off as well. "See you around, LeafHeart of ShadowClan." He wasn't sure if he meant it, but it sounded pretty cool.
