Rancid was running through the fields. in fact he was hunting. He had just eaten a vole but was still hungry for more. He had just started after the scent of a squirrel when rustling in the bushes stopped him. He froze and his ears flicked towards the sound and he turned his head to face it. "Who goes there?" He asked warily.

A black tom, who was rather large, padded out. His emerald eyes gazed down at Rancid, and laughed softly. It seemed no tail was there, a big fluffy bobtail left. He sat down, his raggy fur blowing against his side.

"Cicatrice, and you?"

He has learned a few cats in LurkClan, and wanted to at least know one.

Hawkpaw was watching from some holly bushes. He scanned the cats and squinted his eyes. "Loners... They shouldn't be here at all. Foolish cats for thinking that they could take me on here." Hawkpaw said to himself. He lept out of the bushes and growled at the cats. "Let me see, two foolish cats."

Rancid was about to tell the cat what his name was when the small cat leapt from the bushes. "Let me see, a little kit. Go back to the nursery little one" He said back scornfully before turning to the other cat. "Rancid, just a wandering loner these days. Lurkclan has fallen."

Hawkpaw snarled. "I am no kit, but a strong apprentice of Shadowclan! If you wonder why I am not there, it is just simple family issues." Hawkpaw said sitting down glaring at the cats.

Cicatrice's dull green gaze shifted from Rancid, to HawkPaw. He laughed slightly.

"Calm down.."

He merely shrugged.

"Two both of us, you are just a kit."

His gaze went back to Rancid.

"LurkClan has fallen, I know that.. Foolish to have FallenStar as leader.. There is better ones out there, stronger too."

Rancid nodded. "Which is why I had to end his reign. Recklessness was his key to success and imminently his failure." Rancid said flicking his claws out and looking at their bloodstained tips.

He looked at the other cat. "Well welcome to the club kit. We all have issues. Feel free to sit and share." He said coldly but with time with a twinge of friendliness in his eyes.

Cicatrice eye'd Rancid suspiciously, he seemed rather odd, and familar, then again, he has been watching all the LurkClan cats.

"Eh.. I was actually thinking of bringing them back together, but with a more.. expierenced leader. Not me, of course."

He smirked, but looked at the other cat, his smirk disappearing.
