Minnow looked at him with uncertainty. "No one ever wants to help us..." she mewed. "Then again we don't meet many cats."

Clear smiled, sitting down. "I'll help." He tilted his head, "If you will let me, that is."

Minnow gasped, "Of coarse we will let you, but we are headed for Highstones... Do you really want to leave here?"

Clear shrugged, "Might as well. I could pick up a few things. I think these seeds.. are called Poppy seeds, eases pain." He gripped a few stems of it, "I'll find other herbs on the way, I know so." He mumbled through the stems.

Minnow nodded. "We were just resting, we haven't eaten or rested since sun-up today." she mewed. "We move much slower because..." she waved tail to Eyes. "You know."

Eyes closed her eyes as she whipped her head to Minnow. "I know I'm a Burden... but Minnow wont let me hunt or leave."

Clear ran his muzzle against Eyes muzzle. "You don't need sight, you need to hearing.. Without hearing, then how would you know what is coming behind you?" He smiled, "If you hear, you could even hear the scuffling of a mouse!" He chuckled, "You should be glad to not have sight, because with it, it would of made you not really concentrating on hearing, smelling, feeling, and only concentrate on that." He purred.

Eyes sighed and looked at the ground. "I'm no use at hunting, I can never judge my leep! Same with fighting. I wasn't born blind you' know! If I was I'd be fine."

Minnow watched with sadness, "Eyes was blinded only a few moons ago. We've been on the run ever since."

Clear shrugged, and pressed his muzzle against Eye's, the stems now on the ground. "I'll help you, you can still learn by hearing. It's quite easy actually."

He looked at Minnow, "I know. I'm not mouse-brained." He smiled softly, his flank pressing against Eye's, trying to comfort her.

Eyes put her head in between her paws and closed her eyes. Minnow sighed, "So you know our names... but what is yours?" she asked.

Clear looked at Minnow, "Clear, it fits me well. I'm usually invisable, with people not really knowing me. Like, you forgot you met me by that river." He sighed, and laid next to Eyes, his pelt brushing against hers. He tried to comfort her, with a lick at her ear.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you, Eyes. I'll help you train as well."

Clear looked at her, "You know you are useful, in more ways than one. I can help you, or I can walk away. But if I come to help you, I wish to do sometihng in return, for you should learn." He smiled softly, licking her cheek. "Your smell could be improved, along with your hearing. Do you accept my offer?"
