Exploring, Pouncing. {Don't Be afraid to post!}

Clear lifted his head above the weeds, his green eyes sparking with curiousity. His gray tail swished side to side, his head turning left and right. He hasn't acted like a kit in moons! He suddenly got in a hunter's crouch, but angled in a way that he was about to pounce. His butt shook a bit, his back legs putting pressure on the ground, making him go in the air. He landed on some weeds, where some poppy-seeds were attached. When he landed on it, poppy seeds fell out everywhere. He heard a rustle behind him, so he turned around, seeing a cat he never seen before. He was rather frightened. "Who are you?" He asked with a studder in his voice.

Rain turned frightened of the new voice. She turned to look at the tom and realized it was just a loner not some dumb clan cat. She walked over and sat down across from him. "Hello, my name is rain", She said in a clear voice.

The light gray tom sniffed the air, and the scent wasn't familar. He thought he'd give it a try. He nodded politely at the She-cat. "I'm.. Clear." He knew she probably never heard of him, unless that mangy she-cat that he met for the first time in moons, chased him out. Tricking him like that, saying they were friends, then chasing him out! He hoped she wasn't like that, but he kept his guard up, but acted normal. "Why are you here?"

"Because i can be I live here and everywhere i want to.", She said in a quite voice. She looked at the tom noticing a slight bit of tension so she just licked her paws and waited.

Clear sniffed the air again, not catching any other scent. "Are you one of those.. those.. cats that.. have actual territory? That chases others out?" He hoped not, he didn't want it to happen again. "Because, if this is yours.. I'll go. I don't want to be chased again.."

"No this is neutral territory", She said a little taken aback by his nervousness. She continued licking her paws then continued with her back. This tom is very oddshe thought to herself. When she was done licking she looked at the tom and asked,"Why are you so nervous its safe here?".

Clear stared at her, then sighed of relief. "I don't like it when cats chase me off.. Since I try being nice. And now, I don't even know which is which! All the cats have different smells now." He stared at his paws, scuffling them among eachother, even though they were bigger than hers, and any other's she would have seen. His rather long tail swished side to side nervously.

"Well i can leave it that will make you more comfortable", she said pausing after the last word.

Clear shook his light gray head, his green eyes fixing on her form. He started to feel a bit better, knowing that she wasn't going to harm him. "It's fine..I'm feeling a bit better." He let his guard down, his paws still scuffling among each other. He did feel embarrassed though, her seeing him acting like a kit.

Just then a blue-gray she-cat appeared on the far side of the clearing with a black and white she-cat following behind her. They laid down in the cool flowers.

Clear glanced at the she-cats, his tail swishing side to side. "I think I met one of you before."

The blue-gray she-cat looked at him but turned away. "I'm afraid I don't remember you if you have." she mewed.

Clear frowned, his tail swishing. "At the river. I'm that 'bold' loner." He sighed, and scuffled his paws. He looked at the black-and-white she-cat, seeing her eyes pale. ".. Can I watch you guys? To protect you from a certain she-cat?"

Minnow looked at him. "Certain she-cat?" she asked.

Clear sighed, "Leo, You should know by now." His tail lashed back and forth, his paws scuffling among each other.
