An Unlikily Event (Cicatrice)

Leo waited for Cicatrice, She had asked him to meet her here alone. Under the Willow that made an enclosed a space where sunlight gleamed in parts and shadows ruled the other parts. The Draping leaves blew in the breeze as Leo sat alone, her pelt dark and shadowed.

The big black tom had finished showing the she-cat where the kits were, but there was terrible news. Two kits were missing. His ears flattened on his head shown his annoyance.

His bobtail twitched, in a hunting mood, or rather, killing mood.

So, he caught a mouse before he met up with Leo.

He came to the spot where she had asked, and placed the mouse down at her paws.

"Here."

He flicked his ear.

Leo smiled and nodded, "Thank you..." and took a small bite. "Its... god being... you know, friends...." she said awkwardly.

The black tom only nodded, and looked away.

"Yea.. Erm.. I have bad news."

Leo shook her head and sain, "Yes Erm, What about"

The black tom looked at her softly, and shook his head.

"Two kits are missing..."

He knew that he would probably get smacked at by her forepaw, but he didn't care. It was his fault, then again, he forgot to check earlier, and htey could of left at night.... Either way, it was still his fault.

Leo stood awestruck. "We must get them back immediately." she said, a growl in her voice. Turning around.

He sat there, his shoulder-fur bristling. He didn't want to go hunting for kits, he wants to go hunting for prey.

"Then you do it!"

He hissed through his irregular teeth. He stood up, and walked of in the other direction, his fur matted up.

Leo watched him go sadly. She felt, for the first time in her life-hurt. She sighed, and padded off in the opposite direction.
