Wavestar smirked at Cedarclaw. "Don't be afraid to use force if you have too Cederclaw." He wanted to keep his clan happy, and he knew that, it would make Ceaderclaw happy, and that hopefully the other tom would get the hint. Turning back to Rancid he tipped his head. "What is it that you want?"

Rancid nodded as the other cat went away. "That cat that you just sent your warrior to escort off your land is trying to rebuild Lurkclan again. That is the warning. The request is this: I spent my life growing up in Thunderclan even becoming leader before I was run off in a treacherous plot, then I joined Lurkclan in the hopes of an honorable clan life again but when it didn't happen I was forced to kill Fallenstar. All I want to do is live in a clan again dying; protecting the borders of my family. I want a second chance at a clan life. I want to offer my services and life to Windclan. I will feel no hostility to you if you must decline it is the way of the clans, I had to try however." He finished his speech off with a deep breath and looking at the leader to gage his reaction.

Cicatrice had followed, knowing his scent lingered about. He knew that the rogue, Rancid, knew where he was, knowing he was there.

The speech rang in his ears, his fur bristling. He stepped out, looking at Rancid, then at WaveStar, not sure how to speak at all.

Wavestar nodded, thinking about Rancid's comment. He ignored Cicatrice for the time being, staring into the trees. Finally his eyes moved back to Rancid. "I will keep your warning in mind Rancid, thank you. And for the time being, as a precaution, there will be a warrior following you at all times, I always do that." Pausing he tilted his head and looked just over Rancid's shoulder. "Lillywhisker will be the first to watch you, is that okay Lillywhisker?"

The white she-cat padded out of the shadows quietly, her rouge training clearly not forgotten. She glanced over at Rancid curiously before turning to sit a few feet behind Wavestar. "Of course Wavestar."

Wavestar nodded, before turning to Cicatrice. "If you do not wish to leave peacefully, with an escort. We will resort to force."

Cicatrice's muzzle rose in the air, and sneered.

"Whatever, although I need no escort, I can go by myself. You know, I'm a big tough guy, not a weakling that needs an escort."

He turned, his bobtail twitching, padding away.

Wavestar sighed, glancing over to Ceaderclaw. "Would you mind following him please? No telling if he'll make it to the border or not..."

Foxfire padded in, and looked at WaveStar.

"I'll follow, if Cedarclaw doesn't want to."

Wavestar nodded towards his deputy. "Of course Foxfire, if you'd like to. Both of you can go."

She followed the tom, her big fluffy tail disappearing in the bushes.

Rancid dipped his head in respect again. Trying to be over polite, that seemed to be the correct thing to do. "Of course I understand, Wavestar." He turned to look at Lillywhisker. His heart lurched a little but he forced himself to show an expression of blankness. "Greetings Lillywhisker"

Wavestar watched Foxfire leave before turning to Rancid. "I should get back to hunting, the prey doesn't catch themselves sadly. I'll leave Lillywhisker to show you around."

Lillywhisker nodded, watching as Wavestar picked up his rabbit and padded out of sight. There was no doubt in her mind, that he would be following Foxfire and Ceaderclaw, to make sure they were safe. Once he was gone, she turned to Rancid. "Hello Rancid."

Rancid curtly nodded and watched as the leader as he walked away. Undoubtedly to make sure that the intruder was off their land. He whipped his head back to Lillywhisker and cleared his throat a little awkwardly. "Soo...erm...how have you been?" He asked leaning a little bit back and forth.

Lillywhisker stared into the shadows, imagining hidden threats like she always did. Smiling gently she turned her gaze to Rancid, he was cute, in a way, and his stumbling for words enhanced that. "I'm very well. And you? I haven't seen you for a while."

The large tom blinked and raised his paw slowly to give it a lick. The she-cat he saw in front of him wasn't a normal clan cat of the clans she was a cat he considered to be one of the cats he knew best. But he'd never let her know it...at least yet. "Starclan has led you well. I am better, ready to be in a clan again. Yes not since..." He struggled to remember then he cursed lightly to himself feeling the dull pain from the bump on his head.
