Greydon sat in a tree very calmly. He was a perfect gentleman, exept when he was angry. He waited for something of an improving nature would come and salvage his life from utter boredom. Because as of now he spent his free time chasing falling leaves. His tail was wrapped neatly around his clean and orderly paws. If anything he was a neat freak. He would perfect anything he could. Even though he was a larger cat he would never use brute strength to over-power anyone, unless oh ya his darned temper caught up with him.

Shadowshine padded slowly through Riverclan's territory, the black she-cat flicking her tail lazily. She watched her surroundings calmly, blue eyes not really paying attention to much. Just keeping her nose out for scents that weren't Riverclan. Seeing as there were none, she stretched, claws digging into the earth and dragging dirt towards her, furrowing the soil. She sat down, cleaning her paws when she noticed Greydon. She turned her ears towards him. "Hello there.........."

Greydon jumped down from the tree all to willing to make a new acquaintance. It had been all to long since he had met any cat let alone from a clan. "Good Afternoon M'am How is this fine day treating you?", he asked smoothly. If anything this would improve his status of boredom.

"well enough i suppose" Shadowshine said, flicking her tail. Her eyes were cautious and she watched his every move. She wouldnt trust this tom.

"Great!", he purred glad the she-cat was having a good day. "I am Greydon, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.", he smiled courteously. This she-cat was safe as could be unless she poked a hole in the jelly jar containing his temper.

''mhm...might i inquire as to who you might be?" Shadowshine asked. As he moved forward she pinned her ears back, a low warming growl ready to leap from her throat

Greydon sat down confused hadn't he already said his name? She must not have heard it. "Greydon.", he sasid a little louder. His ears pinned back slightly at the sign of her aggression.

"Greydon......and are you a clan cat?" Shadowshine asked, her blue eyes scanning his entire frame quickly once. Her black tipped ears hadn't picked up on his name before, but his name didn't sound.....like a clan name. It sounded loner. Foreign. She didn't like it much. She didn't like him being near her much. He was larger than she was and she might be strong, but not THAT strong.

Greydon twitched his tail not sure what she was looking at. He sat up straight before licking his chest a few times. "I am loner if that is what you mean.", he replied simply. Was he never to learn the name of this she-cat or would she have to keep herself a mystery.

"Yes. Thats what I mean. ....." She trailed off, her fur bristling lightly. She glanced the tom over again. "I'm Shadowshine, by the way." She said, cursing silently in her mind. WHY DID SHE JUST SAY THAT??

Greydon's ears were pinned to the back of his head. Why did she have to be so rude. Had he offended her or attacked her or did he have a booger on his pelt. "Where have your manners run off to miss?", he asked his ears not leaving his skull. "Have I offended you?", he sighed his temper starting to leak.

"I'm naturally cautious. Have you got a problem with it?" She asked slightly harshly. Her eyes flashed dangerously, flicking her tail with a quiet tiredness. "And I wasn't exactly expecting to deal with another cat when I came through. You startled me when I first saw you."
