Clawtooth was at the edge of RiverClan territory. He knew she was there, somewhere! He narrowed his eyes and waited to see his beloved mate.

Her black pelt shined under the glow of the half moon. Her eyes sharp and wide as she scanned the side of the territory. It had been so long since she had seen her mate Clawtooth. Her eyes finally met his his as they peaked out from the darkness of the shadows. "Hello, long time no see" she mewed.

Clawtooth rushed up to her, "I had no idea where you had gone!" he cried. "I searched the loner lands many times! Then I caught your scent in Bracken River I think! It had RiverClan scent. So I have finally found you!' his tail entwined with hers. He was very delighted. "You have very pretty eyes you know..."

She smirked at the comments "Our kits are now apprentices you know, Meatsi is now Flairpaw and Crystal is Crystal paw I also have taken in two kits that had gotten lost by the River I was lucky to have spotted them in time of they could have drowned " she mewed happily but yet she was troubled by something. It was bothering her not to say she then un-winded her tail. "Clawtooth..." she sighed "Clawtooth there is something we need to talk about....it has just been to long of time yes I still love you..but..how could we stay together I tried to become a Shadowclan member but...I just made a fool of myself.." she mewed her eyes then looking to her paws...

She looked at him "No I really do want to still be your mate but..our Clans would be shamed the warrior code broken and..I would only see you from time to time..what if we get caught?' she mewed hopping he could see her point of view. She did still love him but it was hard when in different Clans..

Clawtooth gritted his teeth, "What about me? huh? My Clan would have been shamed by the Warrior code! I could have been caught! I would have been thrown from the clan like my stupid brother!" he hissed. "But I loved you enough to risk it all! To have your kits! To be your mate!"

she scowled "That is what I am saying!" she hissed he obviously wasn't listening to her. Thats what she was trying to explain! Great Starclan and all that it holy! Look your not even listening to me! Thats what I am trying to explain!" she mewed. "my facts are we only get to see each other from time to time! and then what happens if we get caught?" he mewed hoping he would realize what she was saying.

Clawtooth smiled, "There is somthing you should know too... I have a sister in RiverClan." he said. "Her name is Sweetfur. If you ever need to get a message to me tell her. She already knows I am your mate. She will find me and I will do what I can to help."
