Leopardclaw heard the she-cat that would take his kits away from him. "Go away.", he growled. When he had agreed to give Firestar kits he had thought that she would have found a way to keep them. But know she had betrayed him and given his kits away. How would he ever get to see them know. "How could you Firestar?", he questioned fury in his eyes.

"Leopardclaw no!" she wailed, she laid beside him and nuzzled him. "Leopardclaw! I... I didn't want this... but I thought if we did this they would be able to grow up without being taunted... Without us being taunted... Please Leopardclaw!" she mewed, she licked his cheek.

Moonlight stepped from the bush and sat down "Leopardclaw...you would always be welcome into the nursery and they will know your there father, of course I would let you see them any time you want! Day or night dawn or dusk being there father pretty much gives you and all day on the hour of the day pass to see them!" she mewed.

Leopardclaw bared his teeth towards her. "You could not keep them from me even if you tried. But the clan will know when I start visiting kits that are not mine. They will either suspect that I have betrayed Firestar for you or that they are Firestar's.", he hissed. "Firestar please let's keep them in the gorge or somewhere that you can nurse them and I can see them and then we will adopt them like they were ours. We can say they are loners but I do not want our kits given to another she-cat.", he whimpered pressing against her.

She looked to her paws "Well nice to see how I am trusted in Riverclan, you tell a cat one thing and you get another...and I never said that I would try to keep them away from you" she mewed keeping her glance away from them, there was no need to be rude ether.

Firestar nodded, she would do anything for him. "Yes, I promise... I promise we can adopt them as our own!" she licked behind his ear. "Well, Moonlight... You better go tell those two kits about the ceremony. We will come back soon." she flicked her tail to Moonlight but her eyes never left her mate.
