Minnow sat in her den alone, Yakkai not here. Her belly was full with kits, and she was the happiest cat in the world. The new den was charming, a thick bush lined with feathers and moss for the kits. She purred and licked her belly.

An old friend came browsing around not having seeing her friend since the last time when she first met her new mate. Tigerfrost wondered where and what Minnow had been up to since she saw her last.

Thing was-- Yakkai was there, just not seen. He masked his scent too, so he could watch Minnow without anyone knowing.

Minnow might not of known, but it was for the best of it. If she didn't know, then no one else would.

He sat in a tree, staring down. His eyes were narrowing down on TigerFrost, his tail lashing back and forth with aggrivation.

Minnow smelled her friend and padded from the den, "Tigerfrost!" She purred to her, "Over here!" She called, sitting down.

Tigerfrost face lit up as she saw her old friend once more "Minnow!" she mewed running up to her and butting heads with her. She then noticed her stomach then looked up to her 'you not?....you are!" she smiled then started to laugh happily. So much had changed "Oh my goodness! last time I saw you you where just starting your relation with Yakkai, Speaking of which where is he? " she mewed smiling.

"Yes," She blushed, "He is not here at the moment." she mewed, "But he is never gone for too long. He is rather protective of us." By us she ment her kits as she licked her tummy.

Indeed was the tom protective, bounding from branch to branch to get a clear view. He still didn't trust any other cat, but Minnow.

He made sure the branches didn't make a sound while he leaped, for it would give him away.

His eyes narrowed down on the she-cat, his bobtail twitching. He watched very carefully, and it seemed that she really didn't know he was here. At the right moment, he would appear, but then... a tom appeared, a black, raggy-furred, tom.

It was Cicatrice, of course!

The tom was padding over, feeling rather good with himself. He never met Minnow before, and he was clearly just passing through. He changed, he wasn't so mean anymore, he rather gave a few friendly nods.

When he saw Minnow and TigerFrost, he came to an abrupt stop, and gave a brief nod.

"Hello, ladies!"

He said friendly, smiling softly.

Minnow hissed in surprise at the tom, she took a step back. "Who are you?!" She hissed, "What do you want?" Her claws slid out and she leaned protectively over her belly.

Cicatrice blinked warmly.

"Cicatrice. I'm not horrible no longer, and I understand how protective you are. I have kits of my own."

He said cooly, and smiled.

Tigerfrost had once met the tom and knew what he was like and hissed at him in his passing her fur stood high making her look two times her size and her claws unsheathed "Minnow get inside" she mewed sternly not letting her eyes leave the tom.

He looked at TigerFrost.

"I'm sorry, I'm not murderous anymore. I would rather kill prey to feed Leo and my kits!"

His claws unsheathed as well, only for defense.

"Why? I can take care of myself." She mewed persistently. "And I didn't know toms can have kits." She hissed cheekily.

"Oh really? Cause they can, called a family!"

Then, before the black tom could do anything, a flash of black and white flew out of a tree.

A yowl of surprise erupted out of the black bobtail tom, as the tom ontop of him clutched his claws deeply into his fur.

"Stay away from Minnow!"

He hissed, but soon got crushed under Cicatrice's weight, but managed to roll over once more.

Tigerfrost fur settled to rest calmly on her shoulders her claws sheathed. Her bright blue eyes grew clam and not fiery. She then sat down her silver stripes shone against her black pelt in the light.

Minnow yelped and pressed closer to the ground. Her fur bristled and her eyes were wide.
