The first time...(Smallkit/open)

The first time I laid eyes on her there was this sort of feeling like I was in Starclan. I had never seen this cute she-cat that seemed to be his age. Of course he didn't really see anything other than the blank haze across his mind. But he saw her clear as he saw his mother for the first time. He looked at this she-cat with great interest as to why she had been able to pull him from the haze. She didn't seem to see him so he was safe to stare at her for now......

Smallkit looked to the other cat. She smiled and started walking towards him to say hello.

Greypaw panicked he was sure she hadn't seen him staring at her. But her could not run from the very special she-cat who could pull him out of the haze.

"Hi." she mewed. "I'm Smallkit... You are..."

SpottedPaw was pacing back and forth, her ears and tail drooping. It seemed as if nothing could help this little apprentice from anything, from boredom that is. When she saw her friend, Smallkit, her tan tail flickering up in the air.

Her crystal gaze flickered to the apprentice, GreyPaw, and smiled softly, a new friend! She bounded over.

"Hi!"

"I..I.....I am .....Grey ..Gery ppaw.", He said nervously. She seemed very nice but her niceness was not the only thing her liked about her. He felt he knew her but at the same time he didn't. He stifled a purr and licked his chest fur down.

Smallkit giggled a little bit. "Would you like to share some fresh-kill Graypaw?" she purred.

"UMM ...sure that would be gr..gr..gre.at..", He stuttered again. He felt so little and unimportant in the presence of to many she-cats

SpottedPaw slunk to the ground, shrinking. She wasn't greeted back by one of her good friends, her gaze fixed on the tom. Her tail swished, slinking back. She felt as if this tom was making her friend break apart from her.

Greypaw saw the look in Spottedpaw's eyes and slunk away after Smallkit.

Smallkit saw someting in the tom that was... sweet. She knew they would be good friends. She didn't notice Spottedpaw because her attention was totally on the tom. She padded to the fresh-kill pile and got a Rabbit. She brought it back and said, "For us." to Graypaw.

Greypaw nodded slighly still scared stiff by the older apprentice. He was out of breath so he sucked in a small breath and hid behind Smallkit. He liked the kit and didn't want to seem like a chicken but he didn't know how to act blinded by the haze for so long.

Smallkit watched him then dropped it, "Have some." she mewed.

Swankit and Swiftkit saw Spottedpaw, "Come and Play!" the mewed.

Greypaw took a small bite then stepped back and flicked her ear with his tail. She was growing on him but he didn't want to make her fell like he was moving to fast because he almost felt like he was going to fast for him. Even though he felt drawn to her.

Smallkit smiled and flicked him back, taking a bite again.
