Smokewisp was back to his flirty rambunctious self as he had been given time to get over Spottedtail. Sure he would always love her but she seemed to have no time for him as she was takng care of Smallpaw. He sighed not really sure if it was over butt he wouldn't mind a little company from a she-cat to lift his spirits.

Birdflight was sitting in the clearing, her was alone and saddened, her apprentice had disappeared-gone-vanished... It hurt her... She was napping, sort of, She had her eyes flickering open and closed... She couldn't nap now.

Smokewisps eyes caught the sight of a pretty she-cat. "Hello there gorgeous.", he purred walking over. "Are you alright pretty kitty?", he asked in a flirty alluring voice.

Birrdflight smiled, "I am fine." she said, laughing slightly. "How about you." She asked, her eyebrows raised.

Smokewisp purred. Great she was interested. He layed beside her and smiled. "I am fine, Just looking for a pretty she-cat to be mine.", he purred entwining his tail with hers. Sure he loved Spottedtail but it was time to move on and find someone else.

She smiled shyly, "Like whom?" she asked sarcastically. She smiled and avoided his gaze for a while...

Smokewisp growled playfully. Hard to get ehh? "I don't know I see this beautifully amazing she-cat right next to me.", he purred licking her cheek.

She licked back, it was comforting... Like her mother, but even more pure and happy... Something cats had described as Love?

"Careful now dear Spottedtail might see.", he smiled creeping deeper into thicker brush. He was well hidden beckoning her to follow before he laid down again. "Now then where were we?", he asked licking the tip of his tail.

Birdflight followed him, she stood beside him and felt his pelt touch her own, it gave her shivers... she smiled and entwined her tail with his again, "Right about here?" he mewed, and licked his cheek.

Smokewisp rolled her over and pinned her down. He stood above her with a wicked grin on his face. "You are very pretty you know.", he purred leaning down to lick her cheek. He had a flicker of a vision of what his life would be with Spottedtail. He saw a small litter of kits and their mother sitting in the nursery. But when he saw his life with Birdflight and he saw a flourishing family with alot of love.

"And you are the most handsome tom I have ever met." she mewed back, smiling. She didn't bother getting him off. She licked his paw pinning her down.

Smokewisp purred lifting the paw that she had licked because it tickled. "I can not promise you love or a future as a mate. But I think you are pretty and fun.", he smiled. How he wanted to say that he wanted kits with her, but he wasn't sure if he was ready to commit so deeply. I mean sure kits don't mean love do they? "Birdflight I we had kits together would you think I love you?", he asked morbidly embarrassed as soon as it had left his mouth.

Birdflight shrugged, "I guess... To an extent that you wanted me to have your kits. Then yes." She said, she knew he already felt embarrassed so maybe a plain, straight answer would help.

"I do not know.", he sighed. "I want to have kits so badly but Spottedtail hasn't the time for ma and I don't love you.", he frowned not sure why Spottedtail wouldn't have his kits.
