Dancing bears {Stormstrike}

DappledLeaf padded through the forest, hunting for squirrels. It was rather late, the sun just beginning to go down. She was at the edge of RiverClan territory, moving quickly and quietlly through the forest. She stopped and crouched in a bush, a squirrel just in front of her. Suddenly a deafening roar sounded from somewhere nearby and a burning pain erupted in her side. She fell over sideways, too stunned to say anything. The squirrel was gone but here she was left lying on the ground in pain. She tried to get up but cried out in pain, falling back to the ground. She was bleeding, a small puddle starting to form where she layed.

'What was that? It sounded terrible!' Stormstrike perked up from his freshkill he had just caught, ears twitching in the direction of the sound. Then came the cry of a cat....a she-cat! At this, he dropped his mouse and ran full force towards the sound. His paws barely hit the ground as he barreled through the underbrush till he reached the she-cat. The first scent that came to his nose was strong and overwhelmed all his sense. Blood. And lots of it. He frowned, recognizing the she-cat from his encounter with that irritating loner. Even the sight of her made his blood pound in his ears and mouth go dry. But she was in trouble, this was no time to be fallign over himself. "Oh no..." He looked around, spotting some cobweb on a nearby tree and picked it up to press on her wound. "What happened?!"

Ðappledleaf hissed whenever she heard someone moving through the brush but when she seen it was Stormstrike she relaxed a little. Atleast someone she knew. She lifted her head up and tried to roll onto her stomach but was unable to do so. "I think it was a Twolegs. They have those sticks that shoot rocks at us. I think they mistook me for the squirrel I was hunting." she gasped. She started licking her pelt, cleaning away the blood.

Stormstrike grimaced at the wound, helping her clean it, but he didn't know what else to do, he wasn't a medicine cat den. "Dappledleaf, I need to get you back to camp, to get this wound treated. You won't last out there on your own if you leave it like this." He said, looking to her and meeting her eyes. He nudged her to her paws slowly, letting her lean against him for support. "We'll go slowly and stop whenever you need to rest." He said calmly, licking her cheek then looking away in embarrassment. "S-sorry...."

DappledLeaf nodded and leaned against him. She smiled when he licked her cheek. "It's fine." she said, trying to take a few shaky steps.

Ooc: Move to Riverclan camp?

Stormstrike nodded, still blushing under his fur. "I'm s-sorry this happened..." He murmured quietly to her, his bright blue eyes meeting hers. He glanced back to the area, seeing the blood stained grass. They needed to move quickly, in case something smelled the blood and came after them. "We need to stay in the underbrush, out of sight. In case the twoleg comes after us, or something else..."

DappledLeaf nodded and tried to walk a little faster. Her legs were a smidge shaky but she was managing fine. With camp in her sights she went forward.
