Clear looked at the other tom, showing no fear for once, which was odd for him.

He chortled a bit.

"And I came here, so I could travel, like most loners do, I suppose. Plus, I will go as I please, No one Can stop me from it."

His tail tip brushed against the tip of the other tom's nose, just to tease him a bit. If he was going to be in a fight, at least he had the speed, and brains.

Stormstrike frowned at Clear, eyeing him. "You may go as you please, but not on Riverclan territory." He said with a slight edge to his voice as he touched his nose with his tail. That was not a way to make this young tom happy. He turned his attetion back to Dappledleaf curiously. "You're looking for a clan?"

"Yes. I'm looking for a clan. Know of any that could use a Warrior?" DappledLeaf said, her gold eyes curious. Behind that innocent facade was an intelligent patient she-cat. But when she would be set free, no one knew.

Clear's ears flickered back and forth, his form still. He didn't show any reaction, not hurt, or anything, even though he was.

"I think I'll be On RiverClan Territory, you know with so much territory, you guys hog prey."

He said that, but he thought he was going too far.

Stormstrike studies the she-cat with interest, dropping his gaze a moment later as he felt his fur get hot with embarrassment for staring. "M-maybe..." he frowned as Clear spoke up, turning his angry gaze to the loner. "That's not true. And I think you might leave now before you do get me really angry." He growled, tail twitching

Clear sat there, his ears flickering back and forth. He didn't care if he was making the other tom mad or not, it was true.

He yawned.

"At least I have the brains and speed. And it is true, all you clan-cats hog the prey, not letting loners or rogues, or anyone else, saying they can't be on there, or taking prey! That is hogging the prey!"

Stormstrike felt his fur rise as his temper did. This cat was pushing it. "Loners choose to be loners, same as rogues. This prey is for the clans, loners and rogues can find it somewhere else. It's always been like this!" He snarled, his claws unsheathing. Who was this cat to question the laws of the forest?

Clear sat there, his tail tip twitching.

"Some loners have no choice. Some is born this way, like me. And for one."

His tail tip swiped across the other tom's nose.

"I was born, and after a moon or so, my parents died. Plus, it is still hogging, you should at least know that. The only places where it is neutral is near a death wish, poppy fields, which barely has any, and bracken river, which, only has fish, tow here some cats don't know how to fish at all."

Stormstrike shook his head. "Doesn't matter, this is clan prey. If we see other cats on our territory, especially hunting, we run them off. Now I don't want to, but I will run you off if I have to." He said sharply, looking the loner right in the eyes. He wouldn't be seen as some easy warrior that let any cat roam on their territory.

DappledLeaf rolled her eyes and flicked her tail with annoyance. "Oh will you two just SHUT UP already? Jeez, you bicker more than Elders! DappledLeaf sighed and got up, sitting on the ground.

Stormstrike's eyes flickered over to the she-cat and he felt his fur get hot with embarrassment. Why was this she-cat making him second guess himself so much now? No other cat did that, but now he was feeling terrible because she scolded him.

Clear just shrugged, his fur on his shoulder-blades barely rising. He didn't care if he was chased, he wasn't going to go without a fight, of some sort.
