Meeting(Leopardclaw)

Where is he? Silvermoon thought. He should be here by now. She heard rustling in the bushes of to her right and smelt the air, he was here. She laid down on the hot sand and waited for him to appear. I wonder what we should name our kits, I am a queen, they should arrive very soon, maybe within this week. she thought as he emerged.

Leopardclaw walked out of the bushes and over to Silvermoon. He licked her cheeek then layed down beside her. "Sorry I am late", He said in an irresistible tone. He was sorry. He had not forgotten just lost track of time. She looked around the clearing then looked at her eyes her beautiful eyes.

Her stomach was really plump now. "They say I will have the kits within this week. It is ok." she meowed looking around the clearing. She really loved him she thought.

He licked her belly and layed next to her. "I love you", he said full of joy. He couldn't wait for the kits to get her. What will we name them? What will they look like? When will they get here?

"I love you too." she mewed back. She heard something in the bush, she sniffed a badger! "Leopardclaw, a badger!" she yowled as it came tumbling out of the bush and came strait towards her, it bit her leg and she yowled. "Leopardclaw help!" she yowled as it let go, "Don't let it get to my belly!" She looked down, her leg was bleeding but not badly.

Lpardclaw bit the badgers leg and drew it away from his mate. He led it away through the bushes. He climbed into a tree and jumped onto it as it came following below. He kicked it into the river drowning it. He then returned to his mate.

"Thank you." she mewed. She went back to work licking her leg. She got up "Can you help me get to the medicine cat den." she meowed. She waited for an answer while licking her leg.

Lepardclaw purred, "Of coourse I will." He leaned up against her to give her support and started walking back to camp.

"Thanks Leopardclaw." she meowed. They walked through the forest, the wind blew in her fur. There was a storm coming, a big one too, she felt it. She looked up,and saw storm clouds gathering. "We better get moving, I don't want to be out here when it starts to storm." she meowed, "It is a big one, I can feel it."

Leopardclaw quickened the pace and they made it back to camp safely.
