She smiled at him, her eyes gazing at him softly.

Hawktalon smiled, purring as well with happiness. "Alright then, let's go!" He nodded to her before bounding back through the trees, his tail disappearing in the bushed.

SnowFeather let out an excited mew, her fur rippling. She felt like a kit again. She bounded away, her paws slipping on frosted leaves, but ignored it. She wanted to be with Hawktalon, hunting, having fun.

She let out another mew, an excited one.

"So what are we going to do? Hunting? or something else?"

Hawktalon grinned, glancing back to her. "Tracking. See if you can find me!" He said as he dashed off, quickly zigzagging and disappearing into the forest.

SnowFeather let out a loud purr, and let him go a few moments. She prowled through, following his scent. She started to think aloud, which if HawkTalon was near, he could hear.

"Do I even like him in that way? I probably do, but he doesn't need to know that.."

She murmured.

"I hope my thinking doesn't distract me from my tracking! I want to prove myself."

She was purring, just rambling on with subjects that contained with that subject.

Hawktalon actually was close enough to hear a few tidbits of her conversation and it brought a smile to his face. But, he restrained himself from purring and instead slunk further back into the underbrush, his green eyes almost blenidng in and watching her with a smile.

SnowFeather couldn't detect him. Probably because she was too focused on thinking rather than tracking.

She stopped suddenly, a familar scent wafting into her nostrils. She looked over to the bush, but of course, his eyes were blending in.

"Hawktalon, is that you over there?"

Of course, she wasn't too sure. The scent seemed to be everywhere, at least to her.

He suddenly pounded out at her, the two of them tumbling before he pinned her down. "Gotcha!"Hawktalon purred, smiling widely. His tail twitched behind him as he gazed down at her. "But you did find me.."

Right when she got tumbled over, she let out a purr, knowing that it was going to be him in the first place. She stared up at him, her tail tip flicking.

"I know.. but to be honest, I didn't really know where.."

Her ears folded back a bit.

"I have stuff on my mind."

Hawktalon frowned, cocking his head in confusion. "Stuff on your mind? What stuff?" He backed up off her, sitting down and studying her thoughtfully. "If you want to talk about.."

She got up slightly, sitting in a funky position.

"Well.. I'm not sure if I want to talk about it.."

Her tail tip flicked. She scuffled her paws slightly, and let out a sigh.

Hawktalon shrugged, getting to his paws. "Well alright. But if you do, you can always talk to me." He smiled, reassuringly and in a friendly way. He looked around at the trees, seeing the light through them to judge how late it was getting. "Ah, I better be getting back...they make think a badger has gotten me." He said with a low chuckle, looking back to her.

Snowfeather's ears flicked when he said he might have to go back. She was sitting up now, but her front legs suddenly slumped downwards, along with her head. Her ears were drooped, her smile now a frown.

"Really? Oh.. okay.."

She choked.

"I hope I get to see you soon.. I guess.."

She choked again. She wanted to pounce on him and make him stay, but she knew she couldn't, she knew he would probably hate her then.

Hawktalon frowned as well when he saw how unhappy this made her. "Snowfeather, I'll come back to see you soon...alright?" He said quietly, padding over to her. He hesitated, then nudged her shoulder and licked her cheek affectionately. "Do...do you want me to show you back to the cave or do you remember the way....?"

The she-cat lifted a small smile when he licked her cheek. She gave him a nuzzle on the shoulder, her tail tip flicking once.

"I know the way.. but.. Can you come with me?"

She looked at her paws, not even knowing if he wanted to. He probably just wanted to hurry back.
