Hawktalon frowned with disappointment, then closed his eyes with a relaxed sigh as she pressed her nose to him. As she moved closer, he took in her scent that he had missed for so long. "We miss you too..." He murmured, opening his eyes and gazing into hers. "Is there anything I can do for you...?"

She knew that wasn't true. CrookedStar would care less, but she knew he missed her.

"I.. don't know. I would say.. leave RiverClan to give me company.. but you wouldn't do that.. I wouldn't want you to.."

She scuffled her paws, and sighed again.

Hawktalon frowned sadly, shaking his head. "Snowfeather, I......" He trailed off, not knowing what to say. He did miss her, and he could guess she missed him. But could he leave his clan? He had grown up here, would live and die for his clan. But could he really leave her out here, alone and miserable? "Look...there's a small cave at the edge of the territory, hidden and not known to many. Maybe...maybe you could stay there?"

SnowFeather looked down, and scuffled her paws.

"I don't know.."

She looked at him.

"Okay."

Her tail swished side to side.

Hawktalon purred rustily in relief, smiling. "I...I could visit you more often, and you wouldn't be so lonely..." Looks down with embarrassment, shrugging his shoulders. "I mean...if you want me to that is." He was sure he liked her, but he just wasn't sure the feeling was mutual.

SnowFeather blinked, and smiled. She looked at the ground, and then looked at him, nodding.

"Of course. Just.. can you show me where it is exactly?"

Her ears flicked.

"It'd be nice."

Did she like him? That is the question. Sure, she protected his defense with V, since of the insult, calling him a troublemaker, but that is what friends do, right?

Hawktalon nodded, smiling. "O-of course. Follow me!" He said, brushing past her gently and heading towards the cave. He glanced over his shoulder, making sure she was following him.

SnowFeather let him get ahead a bit before bouncing after him. She let out a loud purr, and bounced behind him. She hadn't felt this good in a while, and it felt like forever to her. Her tail swished in pride, as her light purple-ish colored eyes glowed.

Hawktalon smiled, her purr reaching his ears. He hadn't seen her this happy and it made him feel good to help her feel this way. He slowed as they came to a stop by some brambles and rocks. "Here we are!" He smiled, looking to her and meeting her purple eyes happily.

She smiled, and touched her nose to his ear.

"Thanks. This will help, a lot."

She sat near the entrance, and stared at him.

"Well.. What now?"

She didn't want to say that, since there could be tons of things to do, but it was hard for her to think. She wasn't sure what to really do here, right now, even if there were several.

"No problem, glad I could help." He said quietly, shrugging and feeling his skin get hot under his pelt. Why did he get so embarrassed around her anyway? After a slightly awkward silence, he nodded, backing up some. "Well...I guess I could let you get settled in...they might be wondering where I am, anyways..."

Her ears went flat against her head.

"Oh...Okay."

She looked at the ground while scuffling her paws.

"If you have to..okay. If you want to.. that's okay too.."

Hawktalon studied her a moment, before looking down at his paws. "Do...d-do you want me to stay?" He asked quietly, glancing up to her. If she did, he would no matter what.

She stared at the ground, and scuffled her paws.

Hawktalon shook his head, sitting down. "No, I'll stay if that's what you want. Would you like to...go hunting or something?" He asked, raising a brow questioningly as he studied her.
