Meatsi sat next to his mother Moonlight, he looked up at there leader hoping she would remeber him. She had remebered his sister but he hadn't goten his name. Meatsi watched as all the other kits got there names, then he turned back to Crookedstar hoping she would remeber.

Crystalpaw nodded, unable to speak at her new mentor.

Crookedstar then turned to Meatsi. "And last but not least Meatsi you shall be known as Adderpaw. Your mentor will be Needleheart." She turned to nod at the young apprentice.

Fireleaf smiled, she was going to be glad to help train all these wonderful apprentices, she laughed at the thought of seeing Needleheart be kind to this apprentice-but no matter-she was a mentor now and thats all there is to it!

Flairpaw was happy to have his new name, he felt at home now that he had it. He looked to his new mentor and smiled.

Fireleaf smiled to herself she then looked back to Crookedstar, hoping the new deputy would be named soon, dreading that someone bloodthirsty would receive it.

Froststorm chuckled at Crookedstar's last announcement. The thought of Neetleheart as a mentor was even more amusing than himself as a mentor. He glanced over in her general direction, wishing he could fully see her reaction.

Littlepaw bounced up and nudged her mentor, "When will we train?! Huh?! Huh?!" nudged him again, harder.

Froststorm had to surpress a huge groan of agitation. Then he smiled down at his apprentice. "We can go out now, actually. With Needleheart and Adderpaw." He looked over at the warrior she-cat. "I'm sure that's okay."

Littlekit squeaked and jumped up and down, racing for Flairpaw. "We're goona train together!"

Crookedstar cleared her throat to signal that she wasn't done talking. "Fireleaf will be Deputy of Riverclan." She said before jumping down from the stump and watched the clans reactions.

Fireleaf's mouth dropped, she purred and padded to her clan leader, her head low. "Thank you Crookedstar!" she purred, "I promise I will do all I can to serve you and the rest of the clan."

Spottedpaw bounced, "Lookie Daddy! Thats Mommy!"

Littlepaw bounced too, "Thats my Mommy! she squealed then bounced over to Froststorm, "Its my Mommy! My Mommy's the Deputy! Lucky Stripedpaw!"

Froststorm flicked his tail, almost dismissively. "Then congrats to her. You must be very proud." He looked over to where Fireleaf was and dipped his head to the new deputy.

Fireleaf dipped her head back, she padded up to Little kit and whispered, "Be nice to your new mentor. Try and act like a dignified apprentice darling." she purred.

Littlepaw nodded and sat beside her mentor proptly. "Yes Fireleaf..." she looked at Froststorm, "Sorry Froststorm."

The pale tabby twitched his whiskers. "That's alright, Fireleaf. All young apprentices have this kind of energy." Froststorm cuffed the small she-cat over the ear playfully. "Sorry if I come off a bit cold. I've had a lot on my mind lately."
