Snowfeather felt happier than ever, a skip in her step every time she moved around. A smile was always creased upon her little cat face, but when she thought of NeedleHeart, it gave her chills down her spine.
She was glad that she was part of RiverClan again, but everything was different. Cats gave her suspicious looks, as if she would kill them. She didn't like that, but it didn't matter.
All that mattered to her was HawkTalon, and the fact that she was part of RiverClan once more.
-
Snowfeather was in the Warrior's den, sleeping, a twitch being made every once n a while.
-
Heart pounding, paws slamming against the forest floor. Where was she? Why was she in ThunderClan territory? And why was she running so fast?
She was being chased by a cat, some cat that was the most fiendish one of all, the cat that had killed CrookedStar.
She was by the River, close by ThunderClan territory, just staring out at it, when NeedleHeart's evil voice had appeared, saying she was going to kill SnowFeather.
At that moment, she fled, ran like never before. She was scared, frightened.
She whined and cried, yowling for help. But no one came. She hoped that if she called for HawkTalon that it would help, but he was in the tree, laughing at her.
What was going on?
Everything was blurry, and her feet was starting to bleed from running so fast.
No matter what, she had a pain surging through her form.
Something was wrong.
She stopped abruptedly, suddenly at the gorge.
Her paws almost slipped down, but she managed to pause and keep balance, staring down at the bottom of the gorge.
There it lay, her biggest nightmare.
Her friends and family down there, dead. But it wasn't from the spikes, no.. It was claw streaks. She already knew who by, NeedleHeart.
She turned around, and stared at the cream-colored she-cat. She was bigger than usual, but she was too frightened to realize this fact.
She was staring at her face, how her grin was so... pleasuring. As in, how much pleasure NeedleHeart has had.
She moved her gaze down to her claws, the large white claws looking like talons. It looked like blood was coming out of the ground while she walked.
SnowFeather's eyes rose wider, her white fur looking even more pale. She wanted to scream and run, but her paws didn't move, and when her jaws openned, nothing came out.
She looked back down the gorge, and while scanning through each cat's corpse, she didn't see HawkTalons. Why?
When she looked back at NeedleHeart, Hawktalon slowly slid out from the bushes, a chuckle forming from his jaws.
Tears started to go down her face, her whole body shivering. She was scared, she was upset.
She could finally move, but she was no longer controlling herself. She slid towards the left, dashing off. She wanted to stop, she wanted to go back to RiverClan, but she was going towards the Bracken River now.
When she caught sight of the river, it was no longer frozen, more like rushing along rapidly.
Her eyes were even wider, as she dashed straight forward.
She shut her eyes tightly, thinking she would crash right in it, but she ran right across it. Her paws smashed against the water, going right above it.
She openned her eyes, as she went right upstream. Her eyes were narrowing, as the wind blew against her face even harder.
She could feel the presence of NeedleHeart and Hawktalon, each presence coming from each side. She felt like she was getting closed in, even though they were so far away.
She kept running, a large cliff coming into veiw.
She just knew she was going to run right into it, or was she?
Was this thing, controlling her going to let her dash upon it? Or go in a different direction?
Her form suddenly paused right at the cliff, her nose almost smashing in it.
She could move freely, for now. She slid over to the right, her eyes scanning the area.
She saw no cats, and no scent came to her nostrils.
This is where she ran, as fast as she could.
She was abruptedly stopped by the face of a she-cat. She skidded, almost sliding right in her.
She took a step back, but she bumped into another cat.
She looked back; her whole face turning grim. It was HawkTalon, and the she-cat was NeedleHeart.
Tears ran down her face, as HawkTalon's claws ran right down her back. She screeched in pain, which in the real world, she would of screeched there as well.
She plopped on the ground, her chin ramming right into the dirt.
She looked up at NeedleHeart, who slashed her right fore-paw across her face, claws unsheathed.
-
Snowfeather jutted awake, a loud screaming coming from her jaws.
She sat up, shaking, head to.. toe.
She got up, shakingly. She felt like she still had claw marks up and down her back.
Her nightmare kept flashing in her eyes, tears running down her white face.
