Moonlight had been deeply depressed that Ice was gone and now had more kit to take care of on top of her worries. She layed there beside her newborn kits. Sparklekit, Lilykit, Rosekit, and Talonkit. They were beautiful and her first born were out with Bluejay her new kit yet Ice was still on her mind...he hadn't even said goodbye.

Whispers

Talonkit, eyes still clamped shut, was wandering around in the darkness. He could smell the scent of milk on his mother nearby, and he was keeping close to the smell. But something was off. Something about it seemed almost... Sad? The little black kit padded closer to Moonlight and rubbed against her fur and mewed.

In The Dark

The blind little kit scuttled closer to her mother. She figured that her mother didn't feel really well, her scent was flustered with emotion. Rosekit didn't like it, but she wanted milk.

She laid there motionless for a few moments, then letting out a coo'ing noise.

She scuttled closer to her mother, and leaned against her, not trying to get milk. She must get her mother happier, at least, that is what she personally thought.

Moonlight went back to reality and saw her kits trying to cheer her. She wrapped her tail around them and licked the top of there heads as in thank you for trying and that she loved them. she was happy that they tried but she had a lot on her mind.

From the corner of the camp the was a rock thrown, it landed beside moonlight.

Lilykit squealed and moved her head.

Moonlight looked up to see where the rock had come from but couldn't find it. She used her tail and moved the rock away from her kits.

RoseKit was moving closer to her mother, not sure what was going on. All she heard was her sister squeal, which made her soon start to scuttle in that direction.

Her head bumped against her sister's flank gently, soon trying to cuddle with her. She made a coo'ing noise, her pink mouth openning wide, as if trying to speak to her sister.

Curiosity

The 'thunk' that the rock had made startled Talonkit, but it also made him curious. He padded closer to where it had landed, away from Moonlight, and began sniffing the ground as if he could find it by scent. All he could smell was his siblings and mother, along with the rest of the cats he did not know somewhere out in camp.

The cat threw another rock, "Psst! Over here!"

What's This?

Talonkit's ears pricked at the new voice after the second rock was thrown somewhere nearby. He began mewling excitedly, looking off in the direction of the mew, without being able to see, of course.

It's Something New

Moonlight moved her kits closer then looked to find where the sound had come from. She saw the cat but couldn't tell who it was.

"Moonlight!" The cat whispered, "Over here!" The cat was getting agitated.

She got up and nuzzled her kits quickly then ran to the bush watching her kits "hello who is it?" she mewed not wanting to leave them for long.

"It's Clawtooth!" he hissed quietly, his claws itched to see her.

She smiled and went into the bush and nuzzled him but still kept an eye on her kits "Hi love your risking everything! aren't they beautiful?' she mewed looking to them huddled together.
