Nightkit tumbled around and rolled after a feather that was floating about on the breeze. The little black kit hissed, lashing out with tiny clawed paws.

Closeby Bluejay watched the kits carefully. He was much like Starpaw.....er Stargaze. He was protective of kits. He adopted them much as his own siblings. The purred, loving the sunlight that streamed down onto his multicolored pelt.

Dappledleaf, the gorgeous calico she-cat, was stretched out on a rock. She was heavy with kittens, due soon. She flicked her tail, green eyes roaming the area. She was such a flirt. Well......with Stormstrike anyway. She purred, kneading the rock with her paws and watching the kittens play. With her only a few days away, she was content. Even now she could feel the occasional kick to the ribs from them.
