Mosspelt gasped taking a quick breath before falling into the water. Swimming she dived farther towards the bottom till she was able to touch it with all four paws. Looking up she spied Jaggedpelt's dark form. Swimming underneath him she swam farther down river till she could hide in an overhanging branch, she wanted to see what Jaggedpelt would do.

Jaggedpelt looked around trying to spot his mate. "Mosspelt where are you?" He asked nervously. He looked around and couldn't find her. He was starting to panic where was she. Oh no i killed her she drowned he thought in anguish still searching the river.

Mosspelt sighed, watching him look for her. Look closer, I'm right behind you.... For some unknown reason, she felt as if she had to stay here till he found her. For some reason, she felt it was important for their relationship.Is Starclan making me feel this way? Or am I just trying to find flaws in Jaggedpelt like I do with everyone else?" She always had found flaws in every cat, except Jaggedpelt, he seemed to be perfect, she couldn't understand why she would be testing it...

He sniffed the air and followed his nose to Mosspelt. He licked her rapidly feeling like he had lost her and Starclan had given her back. He kept licking her until he could only taste her sweet scent.

"I'm so sorry, I couldn't move...I..." Breaking off Mosspelt tilted her head away from Jaggedpelt as she felt tears begin to fall down her face.

Jaggedpelt looked at her confused. "Why are you crying?", He asked in a shy tone. He looked into her eyes then continued licking. "It's ok don't cry", He repeated. He didn't want her to be sad. What did you do to her he thought ashamed of herself.

Mosspelt never met his gaze, she was so ashamed. She didn't deserve him here, he should have blown up at her. At least she would have felt better that way. "You were so worried....and I couldn't move...and I'm just so sorry."

"It's ok", He said reassuringly. He didn't want her to cry so so he changed the subject. "Have you ever thought about kits", He asked in a curious but still reassuring tone. He really wanted to have kits but no one would ever give thee demonic tom in the corner a chance.

Mosspelt thought for a moment, before looking at Jaggedpelt. She knew the answer already, but she didn't know how she wanted to answer. "Of course I've always wanted kits."

"Great", He almost squealed. But then a thought hit his mind What if they are scared of me? What if other cats tell them things? What if i am no good at being a father?. He started to panick again then relaxed not wanting to worry Mosspelt.

Mosspelt glanced worriedly at Jaggedpelt, she didn't know what was wrong but she intented to find out. Licking his shoulder she swam towards the shore and waited for him.

Jaggedpelt swam after her and shook out his fur. "So what should we do now", He asked a bit confused. He wanted kits badly and was sure she did to."We are having kits, or hopefully," he yelled in excitement. He couldn't wait to have kits and he knew they would be gorgeous because they would look just like their mother.

Mosspelt laughed, watching Jaggedpelt. He was perfect, and if the kits beared any resemblance to him, they'd be the cutest kits around. "Whatever you feel like Jaggedpelt."

Jaggedpelt layed down and closed his eyes. His head was filled with the many thoughts of kits. He was going to be a father. He was so excited he was shaking.

Mosspelt chuckled, Jaggedpelt always found a way to make her smile. "So, what colors do you want your kits to be?" Smiling she thought about all the possibilities and what she would name them.
