Newcomer?

CowSpot was up in a tree, sitting on a branch. He looked down below him, where dew was spread out on the thin grass. He looked up at the sky, the sun finally moving upwards. Beautiful.

Today was the day. The day to be alone. He stayed in the tree, his black and white fur barely being noticable. He closed his yellow eyes, taking a deep breath. Wonderful.

He took another deep breath, a smell hitting his scent glands. It didn't take a clan scent, so he thought it must be a loner. He leapt down, landing on old crumbled leaves, making a crunch.

His yellow gaze looked at a she-cat, which was about his height, except a bit taller. He was a rather small tom. "Who are you?"

Roka looked at the tom with expectantly. "I am Roka and you are?", she asked. He would do just fine she thought inching closer to the tom. "So where's your mate?", she asked cutting straight to the chase.

CowSpot stared at her, his head tilting.

"CowSpot."

When she inched closer towards him, he took another step back, away from the she-cat. He wasn't very comfortable. He scuffled his paws, his tail swishing side to side.

"I don't have a mate." He murmured.

Roka thought again good good. This tom is perfect and a little shy to she thought in her head almost laughing. "Are you scared of me? I wont bite", she gigled sitting down and licking her paws.

CowSpot stiffened. Afraid? Yes, of you hitting on me! He shook his white and black pelt, and looked at her. Why must she be like this? He was quite confused.

He looked at his paws, the scuffling among eachother. He looked back at her.

"No, of course not!"

He didn't want to chase this she-cat off of the territory, but he had to. Maybe a little longer. He sat down, licking a forepaw, then swiping it over an ear. He looked back at his paws, claws barely unsheathing, to where she couldn't notice they were.

Roka stood up and started pacing. She paced around in circles and circles not wanting to be chased off. "Are you a part of a clan?", she asked a little curious.

CowSpot blinked. Couldn't she smell ThunderClan on me? He just nodded slightly, his claws sheathing.

He thought this she-cat was alittle odd. He stood up, his tail lashing back and forth. He heard a scuffle behind him. He turned around, eyeing a mouse. Might as well be a gentle man.

He made one pounce on the mouse, his teeth going in it's neck. He walked back towards her, landing it infront of her.

"You can have this mouse, ma'am."

What is wrong with me? He sighed, and sat back down.

"AWW how sweet but i just ate", she said. She slowly started to inch towards him again hoping he wouldn't notice. She stopped for s second taking in his scent then continuing to inch.

CowSpot blinked, looking at her. He just shrugged, letting her inch.

"Why come so close?"

He stood up, the lines of his muscular legs showing underneath his thin fur. He sighed, and looked up at the sky, fluffy white clouds passing by. He shook his coat, getting thoughts out of his head, sitting back down.

Roka sighed when he noticed. She stood up and took a deliberate leap towards him. "What is it a crime to get close to a clan cat", she said flicking his nose with her tail.

CowSpot blinked, his body starting to shake slightly, but not enough for her to notice.

"No.. I was just.. curious.." He studdered.

His black and white tail wrapped around his paws, as he felt her tail flick his nose.

"Haha I have never seen a tom more nervous around me. Is there something wrong?", she aked very interested in seeing what was the matter.

CowSpot just shrugged, looking at his paws, that had his tail wrapped around them.

"No.. I'm just.. nervous around she-cats.."

He sighed, his ears flicking about.

"Haha well whats the point in getting nervous around me for? It's not like we have any future", she said. Or do we she thought letting her eyes sweep over the tom. "I mean you probably have tons of pretty she-cats in your clan why me.", she asked waiting for his answer.

CowSpot blinked, and looked at her.

"Well.. erm.. I only liked one she-cat in my clan.. but she isn't really my 'type', Like...eh, I don't know."

He sighed, and scuffled his paws, his tail sweeping over back behind him, the tip running across her flank.
