Patchedfoor had had a tiring day at camp. She had begun to doubt she would ever find love. She was meant to have kits she felt it in the pit of her stomach. She knew she was supposed to be part of a family but noone in camp had really shown any interest. She blinked thinking hard. She shifted to be more comfortable. She looked at her reflection and the dark shape of another cat enterting demanded her attention...

Wavesong padded out of the shadow he had been resting in. He still wasn't quite comfortable being the deputy, and he took the chances to be alone whenever he could. But this time, Patchedfoot seemed to need someone. "What's wrong Patchedfoot?"

Patchedfoot hadn't scented anyone coming or even heard the paws on the dirt. Her ears grew a little hot at her stupidity. "Oh hello Wavesong." She said politely trying to change the look on her face to happiness. She failed miserably her face looking like that of a constipated mouse. She stopped trying and sighed. "Just lonliness Wavesong nothing a good meal wont fix." She lied watching the fish swim away in the water. She didn't even attempt to catch one. she wasn't after all a Riverclan Cat. She wrinkled her nose at the idea of that.

A Bush nearby wriggled. There was whispering coming from it too.
Then " HAHA!!! It's here!" A cream kit jumped in, a cream and Black spotted kit and a black and cream spotted kit appeared.
"Uh oh.." said the cream and spotted one.

Patchedfoot almost giggled when the two kits emerged from the brush. "Come here" She loved these little kits. and enjoyed watching them grow up. "What have you been up to today?"

Wavesong groaned internally, before smiling gently at the kits. They were cute, and he loved watching them play. He only wished they wouldn't have to see what every warrior would see when they grew up.

"We were trying to hunt..." Swankit hissed, giving Swiftkit a dirty look. "Swiftkit said there was a mouse here!"
Swiftkit looked at his sister angrily. "I thought there was one..." He hissed.
Smallkit rolled her eyes. "There was no mouse there, and I told you we'd never catch one if you yowled like that!"

"But you know you're not supposed to be out of camp." Wavesong purred, he could remember when he was a kit. Waking up and playing with his sister from sunup to sundown.

Wavesong sighed, irritated. Finally he came up with the reply he was thinking of. "Okay, all of you. Back to camp. You know you're not supposed to be outside of camp, and you're going to have to pay the consequences."

"ahhhh...." The three kits started padding away towards camp when Swankkit started whispering to Swiftkit and Small kit. There voices were very quiet. ".... .... on ......." said Swankit.

Wavesong looked at Patchedfoot apologeticly before padding off after the kits. "If you're going to talk. Talk loud enough for the whole forest to here. We wouldn't want to give the other warriors and Silentstar the impression that you're plotting against us would you?" He joked slightly.
