Riddlehawk flicked his tail back and forth, looking around. He wriggled anxiously, needing to tell Mousefur about the news. It pained him not to see her, and it pained him more not knowing where she was when danger lurked so near in the future.

Mousefur walked into the clearing. She had no apprentice, but she was still unsure of kits. She sighed to herelf and walked over to Riddlehawk. With a purr she licked his cheek. "War! Be careful wont you.", she sighed. After her near death experiance she wanted nothing to do with a battle. She inteded to stay here, safe from the next bloodthirsty tom that attacked. But she als couldn't bear to leave him alone in battle. She would have to be at her best.

Riddlehawk purred, flicking his tail and licking her cheek as well. I always am. You know that. The big tom kneaded his paws into the dirt, watching Mousefur carefully. He was a great deal calmer now, now that he knew where his mate was. Now that he knew all was well. Well in camp anyway.

Ice blue eyes glowed with amusement as they watched the seen unfold around them. A large, bulky she cat chuckled, and her tail was swishing back and forth with happiness, though her thoughts were anything but.

'War, huh? Ohhhh this will end SO badly for us! Hahahaha! Our poor leader is bound to get her thought torn wide open! And maybe then ShadowClan will come down and slaughter us all! Hahahahaha!'

RavenFrost mused to herself, her gruesome thoughts filled with amusement. Some called her crazy. They were probably right, but who knows. She just called herself "optimistically pessimistic."

When Goldenfur had left then den she told Bluewillow about the battle. Bluewillow was angry she had to stay behind. Hadn't she proven herself Battle-worthy since the last battle? Bluewillow sighed and padded over to the corner of the camp, sitting down alone. Goldenfur shook her head and sat down where she was, grooming.

Tigerfrostcame out of the warrior den and saw Goldenfur, she walked over sitting beside Goldenfur "This will be a even better battle considering is to get revenge of moonshine's death" she mewed.

Dappledfrost has overheard the word of battle flying across camp. It made her pelt stand on end. Up until just now, there had been no sign from StarClan about the battle. But they had sent her an omen just as she had come out of her den.

All around her, ThunderClan and ShadowClan were caught in a vicious battle. Claws tore fur and flesh, soaking the ground of the clearing with freshly spilled blood. The bloodlust was in their eyes. Other's glazed eyes only held death and frozen hate as their blood left their bodies. The medicine cat wailed for them to stop, but no voice came from her throat.
In the midst of all the comotion, a sigle black cat stood in amung them. Her fur was untouched by blood or gash, and her black-silver fur shone with stars. Her eyes were sorrowful and pleading, locking with Dappledfrost's own blue eyes.

Now the medicine cat was back in the peaceful camp, but her nerves blazed with fear. Her pricked ears managed to catch Tigerfrost's last words through the shock, and dread clawed at her heart. She bounded over to where she and Goldenfur sat. "Are you sure vengence is the right path? Much blood will be spilled from this battle on both sides." She tried to keep her voice even, but fear still shook her.

Tigerfrost looked to her, her eyes shinning with curriosity 'why was the medicin cat asking her this' she thought to herself unsheathing her claws and slowly letting them back into her paws"Hmm...vengence it can be good and it can be bad..yes I think it would be best after what that Shadowclan warrior did to Moonshine" mewed Tigerfrost as she stared at the she-cat "why what has you looking to worried? Did StarClan tell you something? Has it anything to do with me?" she questioned standing up.

"Not you in particular. But StarClan did send me a sign- a sign of much bloodshed and death." Dappledfrost shuddered, recalling the still vivid scene. "This battle can't be just! You must see that!" The brown she-cat's eyes were wide with fear.

"Well..I will follow my leader in what she says, I and the rest of our warriors are strong and can manage a battle" she mewed. Tigerfrost sat back down "Dapplefrost? why do you seem very nervouse" asked Tigerfrost looking at the she-cat carfully.

Goldenfur looked at her with interest, "I agree with Dappledfrost, why must the Whole of ShadowClan pay for one cats mistakes?" she said calmly.
