The tom's ears fell a little. That hadn't been what he had expected. "Are, are you sure?" he asked, his voice leaking in a little hurt. It had been for a good while now that he had admired Tanglestar, and he had thought that maybe, just maybe... Sunflash bunched up his shoulders, making himself tall. If there was ever to be anything, why not try? He rose again and again padded closer to her, trying to meet her eyes. Her beautiful green eyes.

Tanglestar gave up. "Would you like to stay?", she asked. "And help me with the battle preparations.", she purred at the new idea. "Then after that stay a little longer?", she asked a little shy.

Riddlehawk flicked his tail, waiting for the others to arrive. Tigerfrost, do you know if there are any out hunting? he asked, looking down.

Sunflash's ears pricked and he let out a small purr. "Of course, Tanglestar," he mewed. "Anything. Besides, after we're done planning, ShadowClan won't know what hit him."

"No I think everyone is here unless after the meeting they took there apprenteses out hunting or they went huntting but I think everyone is here" she mewed trying to follow were this was going then it finally hit her "Were going into battle arn't we?!' she mewed exsitedly keeping her feet on the ground with her claws. She was a middle aged warrior but it had been so long she had fogoten what it was like to battle.

Tanglestar clenched her teeth squared her shoulders and braved up. "I don't want to plan", she squeaked. She padded over to the handsome tom, licked his cheek then walked over to her nest. She had no right to do it but she couldn't help herself. Sunflash deserved a mate that could give him kits but she had to be selfish. To want him all to herself. "When Skycloud was talking to you... I had to restrain myself from pouncing on her.

Riddlehawk nodded. Yes, we're going to war with Shadowclan. One of their warriors killed Moonshine. He said, sitting next to Tigerfrost. He flicked his tail, leaning on his good paw. He flickered his ears, looking around again. Where was Mousefur? He hadn't seen her at all today.

Tigerfrost's ears bent back when he said one of the warriors had killed moonshine. she turned her head to riddlehawk "This will be even more fun then, also I think Tanglestar was right to make you her Deputy" she purred smiling at him.

StarEyes sat leaning against the rock, thinking. She would get her revenge on DirtFur. He had murdered her sister, and she WOULD get her revenge. The blind white she-cat flicked her tail, not letting any emotion get past her strong facade.

Sunflash smiled. He followed her and pressed his cheek to hers, breathing in her sweet scent. "I know. It felt wrong to me, also. I've thought about you for a long time." This feeling was strange to the tom. He wanted to walk with her, talk with be, and just be with her. It felt nice.

"You are welcome to stay as long as you wantt.", she said happy as a daisy. She felt a twine of embarrassment when the clan didn't find Sunflash in his den, but it was smothered by the desire for him to stay. She had never liked a tom before but she liked Sunflash. She had become a deputy to quickly and then leader right after that. She had never had the opportunity to find a mate. But here it found her. "I don't want you to feel that you have to like me. I mean...I can't give you kits.", she sighed sadly.. Why was she so selfish.

"If I did, I'd never leave." He closed his eyes. Being the best warrior ThunderClan could ask for had been his ambition since kithood. He had never thought that much about she-cats when he was younger. The whole matter had been superfluous. It was different with Tanglestar, though. "And all I want is you. Kits would be nice, but how could I want anything but you? You're brave, beautiful, and the best she-cat in all of ThunderClan." His tail felt around blindly for hers, entwining once it found it.

Tanglestar sighed. "You can stay forever, as long as you want", she said happily. He really could stay forever. She would never make him leave. She twined her tail tightly with his and smiled at him. She was flattered that he didn't need kits, and happy that he liked her. She untwined her tail and went to her nest to lay down. She patted the room in her nest with her tail invitingly.

Sunflash joined her in the mossy nest, smiling softly. "If you insist, my leader," he mewed, and began rasping his tongue over her ear. The tom wanted her to be happy, to not need any other tom than him. Perhaps it was selfish, but in any case he didn't care. He would stay with her as long as she would have him.

Tanglestar purred and fell asleep quickly. Dreams filled with the blood of war, and the feel of her claws ripping flesh, the flesh of Dirtfur o be exact. He had killed her warrior and now he would die. Slowly and painfully as she tore him apart limb from limb.
